Man, that thing is INCREDIBLE! I haven't been on S197 forum long so I haven't been tracking your progress, but DAMN! It's turned out awesome!

I saw your car in what was it, 5.0 mag!? Or maybe MM&FF. Either way... Killer ride! Can't wait to see how she performs! :D

Badass, Mark!!! Let me know if you're gonna go to Irwindale on Thursday. I'd like to go see it run.

Will do Joe. If Greg can solve the a/f difference bank to bank tomorrow - then Irwindale is looking really good.

Nice, Mark. Congrats on being back.

Re: hood struts, I couldn't keep the Redline ones from breaking, either, so I got a set of NXTs. Good shit, direct bolt-ons for a stock hood, and my Trufiber hood, so probably direct bolt-on for yours, too.

Well it's been a helluva 2 weeks but we have finally figured out the issue of the Uegor being back and forth and the a/f being so lean on the drivers side.

I just confirmed it with the 3rd Ford tech...

My driver's side cam is off by 180º

Going to retime it tonight and hopefully be on the dyno tomorrow. I am very happy to have figured this out. I should have figured it out sooner but I honestly never suspected that a 20 thousand dollar motor would come with the cam off 180º...:chainsaw::mad2:

Thanks - I'm honestly shocked it even idled and thank god I never got into the throttle or put it on the dyno - would have been a bad day for the valves and pistons on that side...:chainsaw:

I have to admit I'm a little pissed off though. You'd think a 20 thousand dollar motor would come timed right...:mad2:

OK, I've seen you use that term a few times, and I'm sorry but I finally had to say something. I believe the correct term is "UEGO", which is an acronym for "Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen". In context it is typically referred to as a UEGO sensor. My AEM wideband has one.

Congratulations!

Taking into consideration that you gave us a Cell Phone video, that thing is sick! Hopefully you get time to use a real camcorder when you get the cam issues squared away!!

I was just over my friends house last week looking at the article where you had the Vortech twin screw in and my friend got all pissy, "how the hell did he get that blower I called vortech and they said I couldn't buy it yet." haha then he got even more pissed when I told him thats not your setup anymore and we argued about it for a good hour or so cause I told him you have a new turbo build. He was like hell no he doesn't this issue is brand new so I showed him that video and shut him up :D

Looks good can't wait to see it on the dyno then on the track!
