They are known to be good for years now.
I bought a gt500 wing from them in 2010 I believe. still looking and fitting fine.

Hmm doesn't look bad, just wonder if it's worth the switch from the small stock spoiler.

In my humble opinion, if you want the GT500 spoiler then it's not worth it. No one notices the spoiler is different until I point it out.

CJPP has always had the cheapest price on the 3dcarbon gt500 spoilers.

Had a GT500 spoiler from them on my 06 Mustang. It was tweaked and never fit right, the passenger side of the spoiler stuck up and the double sided tape wouldn't even touch the car to stick. I found a pic that was with the bolts tight and everything.

Looked great on my 06. It was slightly peeling up but i blamed it more on the cheap tape than the spoiler. This was 3 months before i got rid of the car

On the 2010-2014 cars, IMHO you can't beat the OEM GT500 spoiler for looks and options. I ordered mine from Tasca and got the TruCarbon LG93 gurney flap for it, just to subtly change the look.

FYI those "GT500" Spoilers are actually the Backup camera spoilers... Not the same as the GT500...

As others have said its NOT a gt500 spoiler. Its a backup camera style spoiler.

I got my 3DCarbon prepainted GT500 spoiler from CJPP, and it is perfect! It even had the Gurney flap painted black. I think they are a vendor here. PM them to see if they will give you a formum discount.

Anyone used these? The ad mentions drilling, but their ads are cut and paste on all their spoilers. If it's like the MMD spoiler on AM they don't show any drilling. Just wondering which is correct. I know they've got a pretty good reputation for color matching and good fitment, just wanted to make sure before I've gotta drill holes in my decklid. At $119 it's hard to pass up

Yes, I got mine at least 5-6 yrs ago when the price was $89 painted...yup, you heard right. I still have it BTW. Their paint was flawless and the fit just perfect. I drilled two holes for extra measure and have no regrets.

This is the real deal. I bought the same spoiler from the 2012 GT-500..and installed it on my Black 2010 GT. BTW, the gurney flap actually works, 20% more down force, 5% more drag. 240 lbs down force @ 150 mph...vs 200 lbs without the gurney flap.

It's also 1" deeper, hanging out the back... vs the Roush version. The roush version is a pita to install, since the end pieces are separate..and require 1 x drilled hole...each.

The oem spoiler is way too small.....and the CS version is a pedestal version...and has no aerodynamic function at all. The local paint shop colour matched the 2012 GT-500 spoiler dead on. Between the tape and the 4 x oem bolt holes...its on solid.

Great thread. It got me to do a little more research--turns out the OEM GT500 piece isn't that bad pricewise & I may go that route rather than the AM piece. I like that TruCarbon Gurney flap piece, too--it's a different look & I haven't seen anyone around me with one.

To be honest it did give me pause when I was looking at spoiler options. I kept going over the numbers I imagined in my head and it didn't seem feasible to me at the time. I have never ordered or installed a body/appearance mod on my cars and never had to get anything painted to match; so my inexperience was helping cast all kinds of doubt on the process.

Needless to say, I decided I wanted the OEM piece and quality for my car; so I knuckled down and committed to it. I got a great deal on the OEM spoiler from Tasca for $250, then went on Yelp and shopped body/paint shops in my area. Got a quote over the phone from the highest rated place for $150 and was standing in their office 20 mins later handing them the spoiler while they examined my car and verified paint codes. I ordered the gurney flap from TruCarbon through their Facebook page (like and use their FB store) for a discount that brought the cost down to $89 (only bad thing is it took about a month and a half to get it due to demand - conversely I ordered the TruCarbon CF decklid in about 4 days).

So from start to finish it cost just under $500 for my whole setup, OEM spoiler, paint, and aftermarket gurney flap.

Cool. Looks good. I have a local body shop that does good work I could take it to. I'm thinking of waiting for a local show since TruCarbon is somewhat local to me and has a display & a couple of cars at many of them; maybe I can score a show discount.

Ended up placing an order with CJPP today for a painted GT500 spoiler. $303 shipped. Can't complain about that!
