Do you already have the On3 kit? If not I suggest shooting Bobby, at S&H performance, Bobby@S&H Performance, a PM and get some information about their stealth kit. It's not that much more money and it's a many times better kit.

Not a fan of a turbo being under the car at all. I already have the kit, and it was bought from S&H by w3bb3r04 with the comp turbo. However, I am very seriously considering building my own hotside similar to One Eyed Willy's old set up.

The one at Shelby Park (I think that's what it's called) in East Nashville is the best one I've been to. $30 and we tried probably 60+ beers and got plastered, all while in shorts and a t-shirt and I carried my sandals in my back pocket since it's on grass. Who's doing the motor work?

The machine work will be done by Precision Race Engines out of McMinnville, TN. The short block will be assembled and blueprinted by Heath at Delk Performance. I have known Heath for a long time and he stands behind his motors.

Lito will be doing the tuning of course.

You should talk to Jeremy. I know he modified his S&H kit but I don't remember if it was the hot side, or the cold side.

I have tried to get in touch with Bobby a time or two with zero luck. If I can sell the hotside I have for $700 that will cover the cost of piping, flanges, and ceramic coating.

My biggest question right now is what head fasteners to run. I have read many horror stories on here about ARP and cracked blocks, but I am unsure if the TTY hardware will suffice for my power goals.

I run ARP in my engine. Personally I think some of the problems reported with ARP fasteners are from improper installation. If you run the studs down tight and then put the heads on and torque everything down you can over stress the block. The studs are only supposed to be installed finger tight and then everything is torqued down. At least that is the way I was taught and have always done my head studs. I have never had a failure, due to head studs, in all the different engines that I have run in my life.

What do you torque them to? Do you use any sort of thread locker on them before installing them into the block?

As of right now I am going to run the stock 3650. Since it is mostly a street car, I'll keep it manual and eventually do a 6060 or built MT82. I have been on the lookout for one that needs some work, and have also considered doing a regular T56 like the Saleen Extreme. The bellhousing spacer, cross member, and other parts are on eBay often, but I am not 100% positive what T56 they use. I have heard it was out of a GTO, but likely I'll just go with a 6060.

I believe you are right; the T56 in the Saleen Extreme is out of a GTO. Hard to find a good aftermarket shifter for it from what I have read from Extreme owners on the SOEC site. This is an awesome build. Good luck with it. Will you do mine next?

I think I saw a thread where someone modified a shifter on SOEC, but I am still unsure of the bellhousing they use. I think it will be more logical to go with a 6060, which is the plan if I can sell my drivetrain to help offset the cost. I don't want to cut into my savings too much.

You supply all the parts, and I'll turn the wrenches. I'm just counting down the days until I can see some green grass and trees right now!

Just a quick update:

My builder got the pistons from wiseco, so all my stuff will be going to the machine shop really soon.

I should start work on the car by the end of next week!

And I'm finally back from overseas after 9 months, I forgot how awesome of a place we live in everyday!

Well guys, I have been having trouble uploading photos.

I finally got home, but I didn't take much time off before I went back to my day job. As of right now the motor is at the machine shop, but I did get some things done. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure!

17k mile TR6060 purchased. Still need driveshaft and crossmember.

That all the pictures I have for now.

I installed the 5th gen tail lights, LMR LED headlights, tinted turn signal lights, 2013 GT500 steering wheel, 2009 GT500 e brake handle and center console, new e brake cables, and the gauges.

Unfortunately, the majority of the work will not started until the motor is ready, but I'll keep everyone posted. My turbo hot side piping came in today from mandrel-bends. com, and I ordered self centering v-bands from hyperformanceracing. com today as well.

The last thing to buy I guess will be the turbo, and an oil cooler for safe measure.

Concern right here. This is the new on3 oil filter relocation. Pictured is a measurement of the lower coolant hose inlet that bolts to the block. I might have to take a factory oil filter adapter housing coolant inlet and weld it on because this seems too small for a regular hose. Does anyone have a measurement of the inside diameter of a factory hose?

You're shitting me. Which shop? Do they have more?

I have everything but the trans itself, the shifter handle and the clutch, but I have part numbers and there's easy availability on both of those last ones.

I'll ask and double check on Saturday.

I got it from Delk Performance over by Nashville Super Speedway. Their number is 615-453-2300 if you want to give them a call.
