RIP - You will be missed
'08 GT, and the odometer claims just a couple of miles shy of 37k. But nearly 1k of those have been at speed on road courses. September could add 1500 street miles and over 500 more track miles to that . . .

Even a DD can't rack up the miles too fast when the commute is less than 6 miles one way, and (except for the more frequent track day trips) they're apt to go on even slower after you've retired.

54,000 miles. Original owner. 4 motors, 4 supercharger systems, two sets of heads, two transmissions, 5 clutches, 5 gear swaps, 4 wheel sets, three drive shafts, too much money spent.

No parts were changed due to failure except for a centerforce clutch.

Edit: My doctor and I are still trying to find the correct medication, lol.
Bruce,

Wrong quote Terry! John, Boss281, bought Laura's white 07.

She struggled on whether to keep it or not, but it was seeing less and less time on the road. We talked a lot about it, and she knows it is in good hands with me. I have some changes in mind, and it will see daily driving unless it snows.

Her replacement? A nice white Suburu WRX pocket rocket. Car has some serious grip and zip...

Well I know it is the right person now, :naughty1:

Nice going with Croft's White Mustang purchase.

I did read where she posted about her new Suburu WRX.

Terry, slight thread hijack but how you liking the MT wheels and tires? Considering them in a staggered 18" set. I have the tires on the red 2005 at 275/40-18 on all 4 corners and they are fine for summer...

I'll make this easy on both of us.

I'll send you a PM in a few.

You know how easy it is for some people to go off the deep-end when someone changes subject matter on a thread.

Give me sometime to type the PM.

Terry

You have a PM ..........

Absolutely hang on to it. Alloy is possibly the best color on any S197 (except DHG) and the body lines are classic.

Thanks man! I agree Alloy is a great color on the '05-'09's. It's not going anywhere...I'd started saving to add some suspension mods and for a blower but decided to build a pole barn this spring instead.

Figure if I'm going to keep it I needed somewhere nicer to store it and work on it when the money is saved up again. One day the more serious mods will begin!
