...the Lizmobile turned over 100,000 miles, just as I dropped Mallory off at school.

C-Liz-Go was born February 8, 2005 and I took delivery on April 8. Our first stop home from the dealership was a Sonic drive-in for tots. When I drove it off the lot, it was bone stock and nary a stripe on it. First mod was sequentials, and that purchase led me to my first Stang site membership, 2005stang.com (thanks Sixty Six).

The Stang and I have obviously spent a lot of time together driving, from MO to TX and back several times, from TX to SC for MustangWeek, and perhaps this year, we'll head to the West Coast to see that side of the country.

Not sure how we'll celebrate today.....maybe find a Vette to play with later. But C-Liz-Go will always be a one owner car. I'll never give it up.

Congrats on your milestone! Where in MO? I'm in Hillsboro. Mine only has 17k on it, but it is not a daily driver. We are planning on making Mustang Week this July, but I am kinda nervous about where to keep the car at night. We always stay at a resort when we go to Myrtle Beach, and their lot is across the main street and very unsecured. As a veteran of Mustand Week, any recommendations as to someplace better to stay?

Thanks,

Jim

I used to live in New Melle, MO, just outside of St. Louis, but now live in Houston.

MustangWeek 2007 was fuckin' awesome. There's an official hotel (or last time, there was). Check out the website, or go on www.BadMustangsClub.com. They have a group rate usually, and have a large turnout of cars. You will have a great time, there's nothing else like it.

Very cool... We love Myrtle Beach anyway. Throwing in the cars will be the coolest. Thanks for the reply...:)

Just came back from a 8 hour round trip drive and turned my 2006 to 83K myself! I'm going to drive it until the wheels fall off.

Well, well have to meet up if you head West, Liz. Perhaps you should plan to come out for the Knotts Berry Fabulous Fords Show, Apr 19. Ill be there. Its going to be bigger than usual I suspect since its the 45th Anniversary of the Mustang.

Speaking of the Mustang 45th Anniversary.......why don't all of you plan to load up and come to Birmingham, Alabama for the party! April 16-19 at Skip Barber Motorsports Park.

I went to Barber Motorsports Park for the MCA show in 2006. Hotter than hell over Labor Day, that's what I remember.

The Knotts Berry Farm thing sounds fun, only problem is I have is the kiddo will still be in school. The big trek to the West Coast will have to be while she's still in Denver this summer. Or else next year.

Either way, this year I'm driving to somewhere besides STL.

That was smart of someone.

Doubt highly I could go in April, kid and all. And business and all. Unless by then I have AN ASSISTANT!

Any takers yet? I'll bake pie.
