Did they have scale there? I meant to ask/look and forgot, I wanted to know what the car weighs.

I know you weren't being a jerk...and agree with my 60's I was not getting into the 10's that day. I need to figure out my burnout issue as with slicks and an automatic there is no reason I should not have done better than I did.

Line lock is in the garage to be installed, SFC's, A2A setup and a PA pan to get another 4 qts of fluid in the tranny are all on the sked to be installed over the winter.
Also picked up a set of Greg Weld skinny fronts to reduce rotational mass on the front.

I was very impressed with the weight of your car, the dyno numbers and the low number of mods you have done to get the time you ran, more disappointed in my setup.

Greg,

I think you are being to hard on yourself, you did a whole lot of changes to your car in a short time frame. You just have to get it sorted out and it sounds like you are addressing it. The line lock will help a bunch for your burnouts. Don`t be too disappointed, once you get the setup straight and seat time you will be in the 10`s easy even w/ no addnl power added. There is a scale at VMP, its to the right of the time slip booth and just after it. Good luck man, again if I can help just let me know, you know where to find me.

10's are in your future greg for sure. It's the launch. All you need is 1.6-1.7 60ft.

Yeah i didnt get on the scale either but i know my vert is heavy as shit lol it weighed over 4,000lbs with out the turbo with me in it.(260lbs).

You got some weight greg too figure your car stock 3500-3600. Plus full tank, your weight and the blower setup, talking 3900+ lbs.

Another issue i think on the street/track for you is belt slip. When we swapped in the smaller pulley, we should have gone to a slightly smaller belt. Shit i forgot your running the same belt and have gone down 2 pulley sizes from when you first isntalled the sc. I definetly think it time for a shorter belt. Altthough that v2 seems to be maxed if not cloes to being maxxed at 600rwhp 15psi.

Linelock is going to help get the tires ready but as far as the launch goes, i have no experience launching an auto so cant help you there. I do know a stall will help alot.

I only made 448rwhp and ran 11.09@121. I'm 3700lbs with driver. So Greg should be ez 10s.
Gmrulz, Jason was sick to his stomach when you told him you ran 10.99. Lol. He still has some issues, but he might have found another "self inflicted" problem. You should ask him what he FORGOT. Ha.

Sounds like you have yours setup nice! That is moving for 448rwhp, but of course setup is key. Good job man!

I didn`t know that Jason was upset when he found out what I ran. He was having tuning issues so one would expect his was not running up to snuff. I guess in retrospect, I could see where it might cause worries that something wasn`t installed correctly or something similar. My install went perfect but I could not program or tune my car, seems GM`s first tune for the early 2010`s left out a particular air/fuel analysis table and w/ out it my car would not run in closed loop w/ the blower. Of course at the time we did not know that and after 6 hours of trying to get it to run w/ hptuners, we had to figure something else out. Had it towed to GM had the PCM updated to the current operasting system and wala it ran and drove fine on the stock GM tune. Downloaded the Whipple can tune and then did some tweaking on the dyno w/ hptuners and it ran great. Jason`s tune was screwed up from the place he went to. I current form mine is maxed out ET wise. Jason has a lot of room left I would expect. I am going to do a few things to mine though. More tweaking for now, weight, rolling resistance, gears, and maybe late next year possibly a smaller pulley, stall converter.

I`m interested to know what he forgot..Lol.. I`ll have to call him.:popcorneat:

Theres no real comparison between your nitrous setup and his centri, totaly diffrent powerbands just look at a nitrous dynograph compared to a centri. I do agree there 10s in his car.

I did not realize he had a STOCK converter. Thought it was a PTC

I know..talking with Chris from PTC to see if their TC will work or if I need to go PI.

For the 1/8 are you asking about when I went to Hertford or at VMP?
