Ok, so there it is. Team Whipple vs Team KB. When is this going to happen? I'd like to put Tony and Dean on the trailer.

Ok im done with Adam....lol You have to give me a little more time Paul I am still working on getting my car finished but when it is you got head up....lol

I figure since we are going to be running the same combination it should be a good race. Make sure you bring your video camera because I always wanted to see what my rear license plate looks like while im going down the track.....LMAO:furious:

Tony,
How much HP/TQ will the stock manual tranny hold?

that's suggestive cause it depends on how long? Burcham has held 1000+ rwhp on the manual but then again, how many times has he had to replace/fix it?

The real question on the manual is not really how much hp you can handle on the trans IMO - it's how much HP can you effectively keep any clutch/flywheel combination in play.

Well if thats the case my new clutch feels like it belongs in a freaking mack truck, so it should hold up pretty well.

What about the tranny?

My Tranny is holding up so far, but I haven't had a chance to take it to the track since I put the smaller pully on. My plans now are to swap the engine, and put a spec clutch and fly wheel in for now. Next major upgrade I'm saving up for is going to be the tranny then I'll put the 2.98 pully on and see what I can get out of the old Saleen S/C. JDM makes pretty good power with their blue car which has a Saleen S/C.

Burcham is not using the stock trans, he uses a TKO on his car. I am sure Tony can upgrade your trans to be capable of holding the power you are looking for, the questin is will the shifter stay in place?

Wish I could get into this trash talk with my saleen, but out of all of you I have the slooooowest car. I need some real sponsors to catch up to you guys. For now I'm just glad to be part of the ST Motorsport team .
