Been on the phone witj Sct all day and we have reflashed the computer twice and we even used a new hand held, it will load the tube to approx 20% and it says tuning failed and locks the computer up

I had that happen to me, car wouldnt accept tunes, I had to return car to stock send my xcal2 to sct to have them reset/reload software. Then loaded the tune back to the handheld and into the car. Something on the handheld was corrupt.

Well we also tried a new hand held and that didn't work either

Taking from my recent lessons learned. Make any other changes lately? Either way check your grounds. If grounds are bad, car will not accept tune, stock, custom or other.

I'll check grounds tonight had to haul it home in a trailor the only problem I noticed before the tune was that my abs light was on and my traction control was off

Any idea why guys is there a specific ground or fuse i can check

Update, playing with it this morning cleaned some grounds and messed with a few wires nothing major went to turn the car to stock and success it worked, then I decide to upload the custom tune, it saved the factory tune and got 54% through the upload and it said upload failed, now o have to put it back to stock and it won't even do that

Anyone have any ideals I'm at a loss

I had the same problem, if you can manage to get the car returned to stock again, I would leave it that way and send the tuner back to SCT it is messed, bad part is it take SCT about 2 weeks to send it back.

It's not the Tuner, we had the computer flashed back to stockans tried a brand new handheld and it did the same thing

look at any and all wiring modifications you have made. battery in the trunk, check wiring all the way back for damaged shielding and possible grounding to chassis. back trace your steps in order of the last thing changed before it acted up and reverse process until you find the culprit.keep us posted

Do you have a charger on the car? Low voltage will cause this issue.

Try disconnecting the power to the HID lights.

Yupp tried that it was a no go, iv limited to the junction block that connects the main power cable to the fuse box Alternator, and starter it has some corrosion and rust on it, or another alternative is that the main power cable is not connected properly to the battery

The car now accepted the factory tune but o noticed that the abs light is on and the traction control is off , thetr is either a fuse problem or voltage problem,

Note the Alternator is brand new
