Hey, all. Been a while. Jumping on here to ask about recommendations for a twin turbo kit for my 2019 GT automatic.

Up until now, all I've really looked at is the Hellion kit. What I can't figure out is why the non-stealth kit is so much more than the stealth kit. Not sure if there are more viable alternatives to the Hellion, either.

Also, years back, the ceramic bearing turbos were the "new" thing. I really would like to explore those, but I'm not sure if anyone is using them anymore. Can't even remember which brand made those turbos... but the thought of not having to deal with oil lines really appeals to me, especially since I could never get the turbos in my 2005 to stop eating oil.

    Thoughts?

Stealth turbos are mounted under the car. ON3 has been making good power with upgraded turbos. Personally now, id look at a whipple or the new edelbrock tvs. Its seems the gen3 coyotes love them.

I looked at other FI methods, but I just don't want those IATs... period. I went turbo a long time ago and don't really want to go back.

From what I remember, the ON3 kits were cheaply made, had fitment issues, and were not even always complete (required additional parts, fiddle farting around to get stuff to work, etc). Maybe they're better now, but Hellion has always had a much better reputation.

I realize what a stealth kit is. My question was why would the non-stealth kit be so much more expensive. I guess I'll give them a call and let them explain. I was hoping someone had some experience with the kits and had already come across this question.

BTW... how've you been? I've missed all you guys!

I called Hellion yesterday to pick their brains. Sounds like the top-mount kit is mostly for showing, and that the added expense is because there are simply more parts. According to Charles in sales, there is no performance/functionality of the top-mount kit.

I also got to talk with them a bit about the options for the kit. The attached oil return tray has been upgraded too (no tapping of factory oil pan) and clearance shouldn't be an issue, even on lowered cars (not that mine is lowered).

I'll be ordering the kit next month. Wish me luck. Need to see if @lito is still tuning!!
