I will preface this by saying I'm a ford fan. With that being said I was told ford was the best selling truck because GM competes with itself. If you combine the sales of GM and Chevy they would be more than Ford. I haven't investigated it yet but it seems plausible.

Despite what "the numbers" may be, just look around, and you'll see what the most popular trucks are on the road, at least in Texas.

Jeremy, good to hear!
Are the radiator mounts on the way, or will they be shipped later? (That's one of those things we could put in, once we get as far as we can with what we'll have.)

This isn't true actually. Chevy & GMC combined STILL don't get as much market share as Ford.

Cheers

Even better a 7.0 single or twin turbo
Don't tempt me... I have a 7.5L (460 cu.in.) Ford engine available if I want to use it. Maybe in some other 'vehicle'...dammit Bobby, just had a thought...how would a turbocharged 7.5L be in a Bronco I have...

One project at a time... back to topic. Turbos on Mustangs

That would be nasty as fuck lol.
Mike, are we getting our hands dirty on Thursday? What time do deliveries usually come by your place?

Maybe a future project, if I don't sell it (the Bronco) first.

Leo, yeah you better get your ass out here and start getting some shit done! You have a little work that can be done...and some parts that need to be picked up for shipping.

Deliveries come at different times of the day, depending on carrier. FedEx makes a couple runs out here most days, so one of those will stop by!

Mike, we need to figure out a way to weigh out the entire kit to see how much different it is from the blower setups.

I'm trying to think what prep work can be done...maybe getting my axle back piping out of the car..what else though?

I'm going to try and bring the truck Thursday to pick up parts for BadPiggy. Maybe I'll be able to re-use some of the packaging from the turbo kits for it. That would be nice.

Bobby just sent me tracking for the rest of the stuff.

I'll be there Thursday to do whatever can be done. :) Fun part is coming soon.

The weight is also better distributed. That's the problem with my kit, all the weight is hanging on the front of the engine. Granted it's not that much weight but it adds up.

Yeah, and I had a lot of heavy shit up front, too. We'll get those weight differences for y'all!

Leo, you still have the intake manifold to put on (and t/b), clean off any old exhaust gasket residue from the heads, and maybe install the crank pulley if we dare to do it before the cams come in.

Intake Manifold, I'm ready to throw on. (Since S&H is taking a lifetime to fabricate.....I KID, I KID...LMAO)
TB is coming from BadPiggy..he hasn't sent it to me yet.
I can clean the exhaust stuff off the heads for sure...
Crank Pulley...That should be easy to install? But harder to take off..so should wait for cams on that one, eh?
