Yes. We measured over 500 cams, 20 degrees retarded and still had a huge gap with stock stroke. Even on a stroker, they work.

I know you time sensitive, but swaintech does awesome piston coating (top & sides).

I think the skirt coating should be plenty plus this is somewhat price sensative as well and dont have an extra $400 to spend on the pistons. They do have some good looking stuff though. Thank you!

If a valve relief is really not needed then I would go with the Mahles for a 2v/4v. They are identical to the 3v specific, with no relief. They are by far the cheapest and come coated.

They dont make them in .030 over though, only standard and .020 over. I ended up buying the Manleys.

Huh I only assumed they did because my 3v versions are .030. Can't go wrong with any of them to be honest!

can you reuse head gaskets or do you have to get new ones. Reason I'm asking is because I have brand new TTY head bolts that I won't use. Didn't know if you needed them or were buying a new head changing kit or had ARP hardware there.

Hey, those look familiar! I have the Manley flat tops in my current engine...granted they are only .020 over. What I like about the Manley ones is their spec is for tighter clearance so there is less chance of cold startup piston slap noise. I have zero noise on mine when I start it.

Just not the best choice for a turbo car imho. Which I believe Lito would agree.

Should be fine with corn for your build Josh. Just seen too many cases over the years on both 2v's and 3v's of burning holes or ringlands out with 4032 pistons and a turbo setup, even on mild boost/power setups.

I like that setup as well..working good for me. My car weighs 3940 with me in it and runs 11.0's with the lowest boost I can make on my e-force...6-8psi(due to a 10% od balancer) and that is with my trans being hurt.
