So right now I have a mildly modded 06 GT and soon enough a KB in there from St:clap: So got the blower figured out, my question is what else do I need to have a 500+ dd? The car won't see the track but one time a year so thats not really on my mind just lookin for a really fast street car. so here's what I have done right now:
Kooks headers O/R x with corsa axle backs
Comp stage 1 cams( I know I know) looking at crower 2's or 3's
C&l racer intake+ Brenspeed tune
Roush spings shocks and struts
Bmr lca's + lca brackets, uca,Panhard + Bracket, front sway bar delete
Frpp 373's
Mgw shifter
Ram clutch
and some exteior mods
so I know for sure I need a forged bottom end but who's kit

So what else guys go crazy
Thanks

You'll need a fuel system upgrade......39 lb injectors will cover 500rwhp. The stock pump with a bap is pretty close to maxed at that level though........look into gt supercar pumps or if you want a direct replacement setup the gt500 setup........You will also peg the stock maf even in a 95mm housing, so you will either have to change maf's, or add a MAFia. Its easy to build a setup for a specific power level, the prob is that the desired power level always seems to change down the road.

with a motor that can handle some extra boost, the KB is probably all you need. Folks with stock motors and various blower kits are hitting 450+ to the wheels with pretty much stock exhaust and stock everything else. With a bottom end that can handle a bit more boost, upping the boost should get you there no problems, no? Unless the throttle body and fuel becomes a bottleneck. ST will most likely be able to forsee this, if it's a potential bottle neck. I wouldn't see the need for cams or headers (both are pretty expensive, right?) if your goal is 500 to the wheels, and you are getting stronger motor internals, just turn up the boost and make sure you have the fuel volume to back it up?

Think about traction next, seriously, even with the shallower 3.73s, you're probably not going to have much traction in your first 2 (maybe 3) gears. I'm hitting that problem right now, though since I don't race it doesn't bother me (kinda like it infact, haha!) If you race, traction is going to be your next big fight.

That's my thoughts anyway. :)

Seems like with the KB and injectors (and assuming you get your bottom end fixed) you should be a happy person.

Traction will be an issue. The right rubber should help you. Maybe an adjustable coilover (doesn't Strange make a drag function?). If you went with a front sway delete, it looks more like a track car than a once-a-year track car. I would consider putting it back on...

Thanks for the input guys , so fuel wise im going with gt500 pumps and 60lbs injectors, found a Mafia, when I talked with adam about the blower its going to be the 2.6 H with an st intake manifold, t/b and intake tube. As far as the font swaybar goes Ive only had the bmr bar in there for a few days I love it so far you cant tell its even gone unless your really putting it through some turns but i normaly dont so its great, love the exta lift in the front too the stock parts are crazy heavy

i would get ST Motorsports rotating assembly, best I have seen or heard about. Just talk to Adam about a 302 stroker and 500+ daily driver isn't a problem even with the Standard Compressor if you are looking for 600+ then I would upgrade to the High Output Compressor
