Finally got the new (gen2) MGW shifter installed in the GF's Shelby, along with the new EPCO knob.

Took a bunch of pics but it's late and I'm not editing all those pics right now, so I only have the one I took as I was leaving the shop where my buddy and I did the work:

Took off the Magnaflows and put Corsa Sports back on. Corsas are brutal on cold starts, but I love how they sound when driving. Hot rod cams coming soon!

Took it to a nearby car show put on by the East Coast Camaro Club.

Won 2nd place in the "Personalized Mustang" Class :)
GF won 3rd place with her Shelby.
We both got there late, registration was between 8-11AM, I got there at about 10:35, she got there right before 11,
so a lot of the votes were already spoken for, and gone to the only other car in our class, a Whippled '07 Shelby GT, the car that got first place.
Guy left before the trophies were announced, so he didn't even get to get the trophy :/

Anyway, here are the pics:

Both IROC-Z's are the same color my dad has. Must be a popular color :p. Not crazy about the oversized wheels though.

Loaded a MS109 tune on the car and then a friend used HP Tuner to view the settings inside. Discovered stoich is set to 13.9. MS109 has a stoich of 13.41.

Now I'm not sure what to do about it because I think the vendor might be pissed that we loaded the thing into the HP Tuner software in the first place and also may not take kindly to me questioning the contents of their file.

Could you to erase all doubt have a wide and bung welded in and have them see what the mixture is on a dyno run and how that compares to MS109, vendor can't get pissed if you are just comparing to what was captured with a wideband.

The car has widebands stock.

You can see what lambda is commanded in the tune in this case it is .8
Multiply the stoich value in the tune x lambda to get the AFR commanded.

So in this case it is 13.9 x .8 = 11.12 AFR

When it should be:
13.41 x .8 = 10.73 AFR

So it is lean by about .39.

Ok, guess what I am saying is if you can pull the number without using the hp tuner and still prove to the vendor things are off they may not get as pissy.

Put the car seat base for my daughter in the Mustang tonight. It's too nice outside to be taking the alternative to pick her up tomorrow while the wife is in class.

QUESTION TO PARENTS: HOW THE HELL DO YOU ACCESS THE OTHER LATCH ON THE PASSENGER SIDE? There's a hole in the seat for the center latch, but not one for the body side. WTF?

Any help, pics, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated.

Which glass packs did you get. I got a couple of Cherry Bombs but I'm thinking the are pretty small. Might buy some different ones.

I got the 18" ones from Summit, I think they were $22 each or thereabouts. I believe they are 4" in diameter, with 2.5" in/out.
