I had made a custom 3v timing chain wedge tool out of oak and threaded rod for the
hot rod cam swap. What do you think?

That's was my only thought its 5/8 thick oak. I was looking to buy a used wedge tool but no luck. How much tension does the chains get.

There's hundreds of varieties of oak, some split easier than others. I don't see an issue once it's wedged in the chain but the problem is getting it in and pulling it out. It can hang up getting it behind the phaser. If you had asked I would lend you mine for the cost of shipping.

I cleaned the inside for the first time since winter started, and screwed around trying to get my new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to play nice with my AppRadio 2.

How do you like the difference? I'd imagine it's very noticeable.
Butt dyno says it feels quicker - but with the cold temperature around here, plus rain, no real chance to test them out yet.

Sorry to see that. Hope it's not too expensive to repair... or maybe it's time for a custom bumper cover...
Only thing I've seen so far is the GT500... I'm not wholly opposed if it's the same price, but I am unsure how I feel about paying more to put shelby parts on a run of the mill gt.
