My only issue with the CAI is that the hood vents do pour water on top of the filter. That would be the only reason I'd switch back to the stock intake.

Finally. No more spoiler or Sirius antenna. Thanks to corey5988 for meeting up with me yesterday. Now to wait for warmer weather to get the GT500 front fascia on there. Sorry for the shitty pictures. It was rainy, gross, and dark outside.

installed the steeda ultralites/j&m adjustable panhard bar, and some new oem strut mounts. lowered it a good amount and got rid of the rake, and it will settle more over the next couple weeks before i get an alignment. the ride quality is pretty nice, firm which is how i like it, and it eliminated 90% of the squat and dive which was EXTREMELY annoying to me. much easier to install than i expected, especially the rears. did it over at my brother's house while he got the fenders rolled on his LS460L in the background (lowered on factory air suspension). finished just in time for the game.

getting my flowmaster outlaws on tomorrow if they come in time (UPS). after that i was planning on a steeda tune/CAI but it's going to be really hard to resist not doing some 19" '13-'14 GT500 wheels...

had the flowmaster outlaws put on. sounds badass! definitely not too loud, but there is a fair amount of drone under load around 2000RPM. not unbearable though. the tips fill out the rear nicely, and i can finally hear my exhaust with the stereo on.

I put my helmet on and strapped in. Made a bunch of car noises and my kid snuck up on me. When he asked what I was doing a said, "Just playing." He then asked if he could play too, so we sat there flying down the 1/4 mile doing 9 second passes. Way cool.

Did you go with the factory h pipe? When I had the Outlaws on my car, they sounded OK with the factory h, but way better with a JBA X. It smoothed the sound out quite a bit, took away some of the rasp, and made it a bit deeper and more aggressive.

Here is Jeremy@AirLift doing a little drive by in my car for the camera. He didn't get on it for some reason. Pansy. Turn your speakers up a bit, recorded with a cellphone and the audio is kind of quiet.

You must have gotten some factory freak quiet Outlaws because when I put them on my car with that factory H, it became insanely loud. The drone really got to me on the highway after a while, a 4 hour trip to Chicago meant that I had to stop more frequently and take Motrin. I wish you the best with it though. If it is not a DD, you should be all set.

It's my DD. It's really not that bad. Maybe a tiny bit louder than the Roush axle back my coworker has. The drone is a lot better at either 65 or 75mph on the highway, and turning the stereo up helps. Maybe I'm just used to loud cars...

Yep, at 70mph in 6th gear, 2000 rpms, it will drone your brain right out of your head.
