What have you done to your mustang today?

Came home and my son left me a present on it. It was all on the bumper too.

Not MY Mustang, but on the girlfriend's Shelby this morning I installed a fold-down plate holder.
The hardware that came with it is pretty much a joke, but it's nice and solid on there

Also installed a new Clarion CZ302 CD player in her other car, the '03 Forester, to replace a head unit that would not eject a CD, would not play it, and was sounding horrible especially when using the tape adapter for the satellite tuner.
New unit, much better sound, works awesome, and the install kit/harness made the job super easy.
For a $100 head unit, it works and sounds awesome!

Got the leaking left rear axle seal replaced, popped-in a new left rear axle shaft bearing, a new C-clip, and got all new Amsoil 75-w140 axle fluid installed, along with Ford Racing friction modifier.

Then finally DROVE it like I've wanted to for the past week that it's been sitting waiting for the repair.

Autonation Ford (formerly Tousley) was nice enough to send me an axle seal for a 7.5" axle, way too small for the 8.8 in my car.

Thank God that the shop had a proper seal available otherwise I might've been up a creek looking for a paddle

So Tuesday I installed the Roush Extreme Catback exhaust. Took me until this weekend to get video of me out driving with it.

Yeah basically. It's not some uber top secret nonsense but the way it is setup works really well. It's almost stock quiet at highway speeds in 5th gear. Mild volume at part throttle (with good tone) and down right nasty at WOT.

I love the burbling exhaust. That's my favorite part. The good tone and air separation in the exhaust is a bonus! That Burble though... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

My gas mileage went from 26 MPG driving back and forth on the interstate to like 19 because I keep downshifting to hear dat burble.

Yeah, stock manifold and stock cats in the stock H-pipe. Zero desire to change them, not for power, not for weight (although this would be more compelling than power and sound) and definitely not to change the sound. The Roush Extremes with Long Tubes lose a lot of what makes them sound so friggen awesome with the stock setup and I'm not in a rush for power for autocross use. CAI and tune will take me a year to adjust to by itself.

That'd be the Police Station and City Offices. The Courthouse is another 2 blocks north from there. I had to stop in and drop off the high visibility vest I borrowed this week so the Sargents could have theirs back. I don't need my Chief jumping down my throat for not returning the high visibility vest that our Sgts never wear and just sits in the back of their cruiser!
