Unfortunately the stainless was $120 more and you ended up with two clamps being used instead of one. If it is the aluminized steel that is the cause of that metallic tick/rattle that is disappointing but it isn't something lethal warns you about therefore I had little way of avoiding the issue.

I already have the resonators and they will go on in the next month or so. Won't be long before I know whether it helps or not. If it does turn out to be the pipe itself then I would be forced to conclude that it is trash at that point.

I think the stainless Pypes I am looking at is only $300. If the resonators don't work maybe try that, and sell yours? Not sure who else makes off road H pipes?

The way I look at it, the odd sounds are worth the .2-.3 gain at the drag strip.

Plus remember, no matter what you may hear inside doesn't effect the sweet sounds outside people hear really....my buddies with your setup (minus the Pypes brand H) sounds awesome when I hear his car.

That is a good suggestion and trying the pypes would be plan B if the resonators don't help the situation.

It's funny you mention it. It is extremely hard to pick up that metallic rattle outside of the car. In the cabin is another story.

Got tired of popping intercooler couplers/pipes off on the hot side.

Ordered new T-bolts (smaller) and a few more couplers (longer) and hump hoses. Going to pull the bumper off the damn car and remove the fan and just start over.

I didn't have these problems until I added the JPC tial kit which is in a longer/different pipe compared to the stock. It's been nothing but issues since then :(

^ The catch can isn't going to catch anything if he doesn't drive the car. Well, it can't catch anything except dust.

Sounds like you're dead set on H but the On3 x is a great value, fits well and stainless with only one clamp connection, $250

Nothing is set in stone. I really gotta try to find comparisons of and H and X with GT500's and resonator deletes. I've seen some, but most have the resonators or just aren't good videos...
