Filled up with 91 and put the pump gasoline tune back on the car. Hard to say how much longer these 50+ temps will hold. First sign of snow the drag radials come off and it goes into limited use. :/

Dropped mine of at my builder so he can start tearing the engine apart and see what is salvageable.

Installed sportlines and BMR panhard bar. And test fit the wheels, can't put them on because UPS damaged one of my fronts...have to wait for the new one to come.

Finally got a chance to head out to the drag strip. Had a blast with the new found power!

Ran a 12.3 @ 123mph in 5700 DA. 2.2 60'

Couldn't get the 555rs to hook up at launch. Really need to invest in some slicks.

lol, oh I am... there was an 'r' in that 555r description. They just aren't enough for this power level though. I need a slick. Hopefully will have a video to post up soon.

The 555rs work great for the street though!

Got the car to track for the first time since the rebuild. Pretty happy with the time. Mph is lower than expected so that 750 hp is suspect. 4000 lbs with me in it so I was expecting 135. Pumps were at max duty cycle so I need to fix that. I am car on left.

Crap, I didn't see the "r" ... Lol
Yeah they work great on the street ... We probably won't go to the track till some time next year at this point, but loving the car on the street.
Makes me consider selling my GT and getting an '11+ GT500

I'm getting behind...in the last few weeks installed dss one -piece, BMR DS loop, swapped umi lowers for BMR, BMR upper and mount, and yesterday jpc line lock. I'm going to pick up a new drag wheels setup in the spring and hopefully get some mid 11's with just off road x, axle back and tune for power mods

Finished rebuilding the front end of my Cobra. Replaced steering rack, outer tie rods, prothane rack bushings, prothane sway bar bushings and new end links, and ball joints. I cut a half coil off the springs all the way around and put in new spring isolators. Took me almost a month to finish this as the first rack they sent me was wrong. Hopefully I can get it in for an alignment tomorrow. Also have camber bolts for them as the camber is right at the max negative. The steering is so much tighter, the ride is amazing.

new spark plugs, just went with the ford motorcraft. car runs a lot smoother and feels stronger now. was having intermittent misfires before, felt a little choppy in the lower RPM range and also high RPM. gaps widened to .060 -.063 on the old original plugs. my butt dyno says i picked up a mph or two in the quarter mile. will try to get back to the track soon to see how it translates

Pipe diameter, I meant to say. Lol
Not muffler.
Anybody want to trade, slp for pype bombs? Lol

Pypes were the first thing i did to mine. i love them. i've still got to get up underneath and loosen the mid pipe to get the driver side right tho. no amount of twisting and cussing could get it centered at the axle clamp.
