It sounded ok by itself but w/ the addition of a catted x pipe sounded like a huge pile of $500 crap. Trumpeted like no tomorrow...

Thx. It's on my shopping list right now. I hope it sounds as good as my buddy's car, but he only had the catback with no other mods. I'll have headers and o/r mid pipe.

getting this car is my only real regret. It IS a better car in everyway then my 04 GT I had before it, but the 04 was "my" car. I had an emotional connection to that car becuase it was my first.

Mod wise I would say the 4.10s and the LCA's as I only did both of these to help me in my racing series...the series i dont race in anymore ahhaha

Id say sequential tail lights, dont get me wrong it is a great mod, but for some damn reason, it doesnt matter if they are new or used they have NEVER worked for me, seems like one side will then the other wont. Ive bought them 3 times! and nothing, i still have a set laying around that i thought worked but tunes out it doesnt. :(

JLT CAI and Steeda UD pulleys. Not that they weren't effective mods...I just was fooling myself into thinking I'd be happy with bolt-ons and not forced induction.

Two months later they were ripped off the car for my blower install. LOL

I don't regret anything I've bought myself.

The steeda triax shifter the original owner gave me when I bought the car is the only thing I would consider pulling from the car if it weren't such a pain to do. It transmits a lot of vibration to the cabin and is annoying on the highway (you hear a cyclical humming). This one steeda part they really got wrong.

I regret doing cams, the driveability and gas milage were deminishd. however, everytime i open the cutouts, i dont regret it at all. lol

I was going to say the same thing. The cams were a bad mod for me. I had to install 4.10's to get my low end back and then my gas mileage went to shit and I still wasn't much faster. Lost about 3mpg with the cams and another 2mpg with the gears.

With my 2011, I will not be getting gears. I don't race often enough. Definitely not getting cams.

So far, there's nothing I've done that I regret besides a set of wheels I first put on the car. But even then, those were so easy to get my money back on.

I regret anything related to the Pypes company. I also regret my McLeod RXT and TR6060 combo... nothing but trouble for me since day 1.

Sometimes I regret buying the car. I haven't had any issues with it either. I'm just never "done" and always thinking about what to do next. Big moneypit.

I agree. Sometimes I regret all of the mods.

Since the engine is out, I have thought about installing a stock 3V and trading it in on a new Boss 302. Then sell the fresh 750whp engine and Procharger with a tune for $7,500.00.
