Unfortunately, brakes is one of my weaker areas in knowledge, so this may come across as "duh".

AM's FRPP Brembo 6-Piston Brake Upgrade Kit

Front rotors are 15" but obviously the calipers themselves add to the space inside the wheel.

Will these front rotors/calipers be able to clear 18" GT500 Wheels?

Might be true if the rotor isn't larger. I tried my 18x10" SVE Drifts over a set of the 15" Brembo 6-pot, no go on those.

cheers

I'll tell you right now that I can barely get a rag between my factory 18's and the 4 piston brembo's on my car. I don't see any way you could fit the 6 piston calipers in the same spot.

I have the 4 pot GT500 brembos and 18x10 forgestar F14s, and there is decent clearance. Not sure how "tall" the 6 piston calipers are, though. it would be cloooooooose!

There's some limited info on wheel/brake clearance in this thread

Thanks for the thread share. Definitely found the info I was looking for. Got a quote from my Parts Dept. on the '07 GT500 Brembo Upgrade Kit and I'll probably be looking for take-offs on eBay or something when the time is right.

I've come to the conclusion that for my once-in-a-blue-moon track day/daily-driver use of my car, I'll either go for slotted rotors and upgraded pads or spring for the 4-piston calipers and 14" rotors. Possibly Baer instead of SVT.

I have take off 4P Brembos with stock 18" Bullitts. You can barely slide a sheet of paper between the caliper and the wheel. I don't think the 6P are gonna go under 18s.

Holy shit that's close. Lol. Well I would think I'll be ok on clearance doing 4P take-offs with the GT500 wheels I'm running.

I didn't even think that the bullitts would bolt up with the brembos at all. A 1/2" or maybe even a 3/8" spacer would probably give sufficient clearance for driving.

7/8s here. Almost no room between the spokes either.

These are from GallopingFord's build thread.

I knew that a 7/8" or 1" spacer got it done but I didn't think that it would physically bolt on without a spacer...

The 2007-2009 GT500 wheels are probably one of the most clearanced 18" wheel, but I'm not sure if the 6-piston would fit.

I do know that the Enkei PF01 18X9.5 will fit them though with a 1/8" spacer. (see here)

Yep and I'll tell you one thing even with putting one of these wheels into a curb at 35 mph, the brake caliper never contacted the wheel. Literally almost no clearance at all, but with quality spacers zero issues.
