My experience has been the pulleys provide more than the advertised boost on a stock engine/exhaust.
I typically run the 3.625", 3.875" for autocross or track, and 3.375 for drag racing.
I was told by my tuner to expect to lose 1-2 psi with my long tubes and cams
I suppose you have the Whipple tune that can adjust for the different pulleys. Or do you diff tunes for diff pulleys in an Xcal3 or Diablo?
My tuner said that if I changed to one size smaller pulley I wouldn't actually need a totally new dyno tune... I trust him but it sounded a bit odd. I guess the computer is smart enough to make the adjustments...
Hey op great thread , I am buying a whipple HO tuner kit and good info by vapour trails . I have a question what size injectors are all you whipple guys running . I am buying sieman deka 63lb , aready have the gt500 pumps installed can't wait .
so are 60's overkill
