I picked up an 07 GT with a blown motor at an estate sale. It's mostly complete from what I can see except block, and comes with a Whipple and Ford perf tuner etc etc. The guy definitely seemed to have spent big money on doing things right, just need to figure what all he did.

So, I found a long block with 15k miles on it, what are the BASICS I can do to increase reliability with the super charger? I only intend to run 5 or 6lbs boost, and don't want to get into the bottom end or big money upgrades just yet. One piece spark plugs for sure .

Stock pan to intake. Do some searching on the board. You’ll see dozens

i'm going to guess that a family member of the recently departed, was enjoying the mustang but was putting in regular gas until it blew.

as far as reliability... just run 10psi, get a conservative dyno tune and run 92 octane.

My Whippled 2007 GT stock engine has been boosted for 25k+ miles. 10-11 lbs boost with LT headers. Always run 93 octane. If you want to get rowdy I have an unused JDM built forged stroker short block for sale...
