whipple HO pinging...suggestions

been running 93 octane for a while...had CAI and tune before whipple kit which required 93 octane. Had no pinging issues with it before boost. 100 octane didn't cure pinging. what plate are you talking about between block and trans...haven't heard of that. Does it sound exactly like pinging if it rattles?

how did you run the 100 octane? did you add 1 gallon of 100 to 10 gallons of 93 already in the tank, or did you add 5 gallons of 100 on an empty tank?

Plus, it may take a couple miles of driving before the mix is actually in the fuel rails.

Assuming you added a significant amount of 100 octane to a very small amount of 93, and its still "pinging" several miles later, then its something else. I don't see how it could still ping on 100 octane.
