I can't speak to that, I don't have any personal experience talking or dealing with him.

If you do a search you will find he has made numerous claims about being able to do stuff, for certain price points (low) and as far as I know never designed/produced/delivered one thing.

Lots of talk, little action. It's a sore spot for me. Anyone can claim they can do something. Not very many people ever come through.

I have only ever accused you of talking big and not backing it up by coming through. Never a attack on your personally. Yet you resort to name calling and throwing poop at every turn. As I have said in my previous statement about the Whiteline part I don't think theirs anything wrong with it. Why should I spend the cash right now to make somthing NO ONE will buy? Why would I spend the cash just to prove that myself or the co I work for can do it just to please you? Will I make one for myself? Not right now. Holidays are coming up and my 6year old comes first. Like I said, I respect the things you have done, made and marketed but as a person your just a self centered child with a god complex. I gave you my email and all my contact info for you to send me any prints etc for outsourcing and you never sent anything or called. Now I have to get back to my Whiteline suspension, coilover and Brembo install.

Honestly I have only heard of these failures out of ALL the units they have sold. Anyone can have a bad weld but it is all in how they handle it. Whiteline stepped up and fixed it. I have the same unit and I would recommend it to anyone. Could it be made better? Yea anything an everything could! Look at the beatings Terry puts on his Whiteline equipped car an no problems. It's just a fluke deal.

I may be splitting hairs here but technically they didn't "fix" anything. They just sent out a replacement piece that is of the same design.

It sounded like you were just about to install this Watts Link for the first time yourself so recommending it based on looks alone may not be a good idea until you have put some miles on it yourself. Hopefully this is just a fluke and all the other units already sold and in use today don't experience a similar issue at some point in the future. The OP was indeed very lucky to have his fail at low speeds and I don't want to imagine what could have happened at high speeds. Scary stuff!!

Vorshlag has been an excellent source of information to date but I'm not so sure they would advertise any past issues they may or may not of had with the product in question; being a dealer and all.

Based on what you have said, is it safe to assume you have spoken to them in the past about ever having issues with the product?

On a different note, has Ford ever designed and equipped a Watts Link to any of their vehicles from the factory? If so, I'd be very interested in seeing what their design looks like, especially if it was on a vehicle sold to the general public.

Just installed the entire Whiteline suspension in the past 2 days. Everything went together like butter and no problems at all. The only problem I ran into was getting the ball joints out to put in the Whiteline units. I have some experience on the unit before now from a friend at Hallett. He's running a mixture of everyones suspension. I have spoken to Terry numerous times about the watts and all of Whitelines parts and they have had great luck with everything. I agree I would like to see it in double sheer. I'm going to make me somthing after the holidays.

I offender jacking plates (mainly because Gmitch said I couldnt get them cheap enough and when I did he got pissy) no one bought them. Why should I invest money in somthing no one wants or will buy? Since your BMR Suspension would you invest time, tooling, material etc in making somthing that no one had expressed interest in purchasing?

Hate to burst your bubble there but he has. I've been working on a brake setup for my car that quite frankly no one has retrofitting alcon 4pots on a s197 that we're meant for a new edge. Now they are on the car and stop like no tomorrow

That Watts Link got the kinda face only a Mother could love Though, according to those threads in the link it must be very reliable. Someone said it had over 100K miles on it.
