my plugs since 2 months die so fast ! i changed twice in less than a month !
& before that, i already changed them???

is it time i have to switch to higher performance plugs ?? & if so, what do you advise ???

car has Full bassani Xhaust, Steeda CAI, SCT tune,

the symptoms are when driving hard on 3rd gear a very noticeable cut-off is heard, i thought it was from my dirty CAI (sandy weather here throughout the year) so i installed my cousins new clean JLT & the problem is still there, i also took it to the dealer, they checked the computer & no error showed as what they say :S
how did i know it was the plugs ?? i changed them the last time ( about a week ago, after the cutoff started) car ran fine for about 5 days only, but the cutoff came again..
help !!!

If you put too much anti-seize on the plugs, or too close to the electrodes, it could cause problems. Also, have you used any fuel additive, i.e., octane boost?

If you don't know what anti-seize is then its not it. People put anti seize on the plug to prevent plug breakage. Sometimes people put on too much, and it gets on the electrode, making it miss.

So when I had this mysterious miss one time---it was one of the green wires to one of the COPs, which the insulation was coming apart and grounding out, causing the miss.

Check all of the wires to every COP. Are you throwing any codes?

Coil on Plug. Each spark plug has an ignition coil on top of it---you know this because in order to change your plugs you had to remove the coils to get to the spark plugs.

Just look at the wires going from the wiring harness to each of the coils---visually inspect them and see if you can see any bare wire.
