Putting an S480 83mm/117mm compressor and 96mm/88mm turbine turbo on the 3V.
Hoping to join that 8 second 3V club.
I think everything else is good to get me there for now.
The current best pass was a 9.85 @139mph on the 78/75 (83/75 turbine and 78/102 compressor) turbo @ 21psi.
I had the coupler blow off the old turbo 4 or 5 times under boost where it went of the slip cover fitting on the discharge and after that seems like it struggled to make boost. Decided to upgrade to the larger turbo and went full vband on the discharge pipe and on the t4 flange mounting as well.
Only slip fittings are at the end of the A2A intercooler now.
Will probably send 4R70W valve body back to get 2nd gear leave as well since that high 1st gear ratio of the 4R70W will be an issue potentially.
Upgraded to Bosch 210's earlier this year.
Car is 3625 with me in it and a full tank of gas.
