hey guys, i've been searching ALL over the web for a set of unique wheels, I'm sick of fr500s, bullitts, etc. and want something new.

I stumbled across rocket wheels and found these http://www.rocketracingwheels.com/products/hot-rod-classic-muscle-car-wheels/rocket-launcher-series/rocket-launcher-gray.html for front runners...

however I am a novice at wheel measurments, and still can not seem to fiure out if these will actually fit (with spacers is fine too).

Any help would be appreciated!

One of our customers showed us those a while back. Me personally, I'm not a fan of their style. But if you like them, that is what is important. They will work and they will fit.

Ya, It's what you like that's really important here, but in IMO, I'm not a fan either of these on our
mustang model (S197)...

those look alot like raceline wheels if you are into that style. and they have direct fit ones for our cars. though not 15's. but youll have alot of trouble finding 15's that fit. of course theres a stickie on here on 15" wheel fitment.

As for the racelines, theyre expensive and quite not unique. ppl have been rocking them on the eleanor style cars forever. www.racelinewheels.com

Those are front wheels only. What will you use for rear wheels?

These are the rocket wheels I mentioned, plus an example of what i could pair it with, although I would prefer a deeper dish for the rear.

I'm looking into some rear wheels that obviously dont match but will go well with the setup. If I actually go through with it, I'm going to go with a hot rod/gasser theme setup to the wheels, but with my own personal twist....

My main idea is to have those front runners, with some sort of deep dish rear wheel in FLAT BLACK powdercoat. The setup will have big street legal meats for the rear and street rod skinnies (MT has some) to stay safe on the street. Still debating on whether or not to go all out and do either a 1 in whitewall or even a 3inch to match the paint.

Like I said these are IDEAS for the future, I would like to hear what ya'll think, once I can get my hands on a computer with photoshop I'll crank it out asap to show you guys a rendering, but that might take time. Hope you enjoy my idea, let me know what you think

ah, going to pull a Matt and roll on BL's daily eh?

exactly. i've always loved BLs on hot rods and it makes any car look fast on the street, but not enough people run them, so I've gotta do it myself.

(as im sure you already know) obviously there will be a difference in braking and handling on the street, but i feel that if the driver isn't stupid enough to follow too close, and are careful in the rain there shouldnt be a problem....no hard turns either, but if you had the intention of buying the wheels in the first place, it should be common sense.

I personally was looking into a wider front runner setup (either custom widened or whatever) to about 6inches, and 15x10s in the rear. For a tire setup I looked around jegs and summit to find some streetable tires that actually have tread, and found that coker and hoosier both have streetable tires for such a setup, which are used by most open wheel hot rods

hope this helps!
