We'll first of all i'd just like to thank everyone who made it out to the rain bowl aka "NMRA ATCO" event back in the beginning of the month. We had 19 competitors contend in the all new JDM Engineering sponsored Super Stang class. This was only the 2nd event ever this class has competed in. However this weekend comming up in Ohio is the 3rd Super Stang event of the season! I just wanted to post up and see who was going to make it out there this weekend! I know a few of you guys who are already going to attend and we have some solid class regulars even for this first season! If you can make the event and you dont plan on racing then please stop by our pit area and say hello!

If you have a 2005-2009 Mustang the JDM Engineering Super Stang class is the right choice for you. This class is a based on a very easy platform that allows you to pick your own index time for eliminations. In the first round qualifiers are randomly paired and the ladder is seeded based on how close the winners in the first round run against their index. The class is also run on a pro .500 tree. To sign up for the class just ask for the Super Stang class at the gate when you get to the front gate at the track. Then head over to the NMRA power mall and registration booth for your NMRA Membership and class numbers, there you will also recieve your tech card and contingency stickers! If you have any questions about the class or competition please ask an NMRA track official or come by the JDM Engineering tent and we will help you out as well!

Also this Columbus, Ohio event is sponsored by Saleen Speedlab. This is the first time ever Saleen Speedlab has gotten involved with the NMRA as an event sponsor. Show your support for Speedlab all you Saleen Supercharged guys! Make it out there and show them what we're all about!

Trying to get the sponsor on board for this one, Jim. Might have to scrape up the travel money myself though. If I make it to Ohio it won't be until Saturday morning.

Might be there.....might not. I'm sure I won't be missed if I can't make it. :roflmao:

Well hope you can make it SD, I know the seasons a wash now. No pun intended but that kinda sums up the ATCO race.

Actually....there is a chance of winning the title. Matters did the math for me last week and it could happen. I need one or two things to go VERY right for me and three or four things to go VERY wrong for a few others.

#1-4 right now would need to go out no later than Round 3 or 4 at the two remaining races and I would have to win both and get top five or better qualifying points at each race.

Yeah...I know. Stranger things have happened in drag racing though.

Couldn't make the race due to a faulty clutch in the tow truck. Damnit. So I come in today and take a look at the results from Columbus....especially the reaction times. I now have one simple question:

Are you fuckin' kidding me?

I see what you mean about the times. Didn't Larry and Paul win/runnerup the last race as well?

Next year, next year...

Yes, they did. Looks like Paul might need a blocker at Bowling Green.

Could have been close this year. Only went four rounds and I really would have needed five at each race. Plus, both of those two needed to go out no later than the third round at each race. Screw it.

They all better practice over the winter.
