Ok in both video that 1st gear sounds sssssooo long.

I heard/read somewhere that 0-60 was all in 1st gear. Hence the 200 mph top speed capability.

If that was on stock tires, I'm VERY impressed! Thing is, they bogged it, or the Traction Control did, on the launch. The 60' must of been up there a bit.

as a track rookie I thought it was a no no to do big azz water box burn outs with stock tires?

I think GM slipped one of their drivers in there.. for 662hp I would think it would do a little better

Keep in mind this car has that fancy electronic launch control. That probably has to help at least with the stock tires.

Pretty good times for stock tires and a lot of heatsoak. Launch control will help only so much. I'm very curious what it'll run on slicks & skinnies, a well prepped track and good air.

DA there today was +1916-2000 and the best trap was 123mph and 60 fts were in the 2.0x range with launch control.

I'm amazed at the video quality. It's completely backwards from most. Usually you have this amazing video with the shittiest audio ever. This one has pretty nice audio but the video quality is so poor that I thought Evan Smith had a giant Santa belly for a few seconds.
