The fall mod bug hit me a few weeks ago. The new supercharger showed up yesterday afternoon. This is the easiest install I've done to date. All the parts fit pretty well. Didn't even have to drain coolant.

About all that's left is to put the bumper cover back on and install the 80lb injectors.

The crank pulley has been drilled and tapped. I didn't feel too good about just having the crank bolt and dowels holding it on. A search revealed that at least one other person (19Cobra93) had the same feelings and posted what he did to add more clamping force. I used his thread as a guide to mod my parts.

I was impressed with the tuner kit. It's set up as a blow though and comes with what looks like a decent bypass. The dedicated 8 rib drive with it's own tensioner is pretty well though out imo.

Here's where it is now. I just wasn't motivated today and spent too much time watching the history channel.

Bruce, I think you secretly work for Consumer Reports and you're testing every brand of blower for their upcoming annual SuperCharger Buying Guide that's free with a paid subscription.

Which blower are you gonna try after the ProCharger?

Plans changed. I've wanted a D1 for quite some time and had told myself that would be the blower if I ever did it again. Then a great deal came up on the Roush. As luck would have it Roush isn't getting any tvs blowers until December. Vendors are still listing them as in stock but it's not so. I've been dissapointed with back orders too many times in my life so I just don't do them. Once I started thinking about it the D1 made more sense.

I'll start out on gas and may hit the dyno with gas or might just go to E85 prior to that. I've got a firewire to record a/f and that along with livelink should give me everything I need to get a solid tune without any dyno time. Provided the weather cooperates. The sc was ordered with a 4.13" pulley. I'm shooting for 12-14psi and from what I understand a wastegate may be needed to keep the boost down. We will see.

Are those worm gear clamps gonna be enough to hold everything together? Id consider switching to T bolt clamps.

I would recommend this as well. I fought the tubes blowing off for a while and then decided to do the swap to t bolt clamps. I have hit 25 psi and never blew them off since.

Good luck with the new blower. Im sure you are going to love it.

They came in the box. We will see what happens with them, thanks for the heads up.

On another note almost all the tubes had to come out in order to get the fan back in. A few clearance issues showed themselves too. Nothing that can't be adjusted for but there goes the "everything fits great" part of the thread. Things were going too smoothly I guess.

All that's left is the front end and injectors. It's raining here so there won't be any good dataloging going on today.

I ran the worm gear clamps up to 18psi without issue. After I raised the boost, I had to go T-bolt.

Looks good! It'll be cool to compare your results with the ProCharger to your results with the Novi.
