Fan-fucking-tastic! I wish I had a range like that around here. The most I ever shoot is 500 on our qualifying ranges.

Its the Anzio Light weight .50. Yea to get good ones that will reach out their you need them made on either a CNC lathe or by hand on a manual. I make mine on the manual here at work or if I want say a dozen or so we have some Omni Turn Screw Machines that I program and run them.

I’m jealous

Well the only range around here to shoot a .50 you have to call an make a reservation due to the 1000 yard range you shoot across the other ones. It kinda sucks but it's still fun. The material actually got here at 1700 today so we will be starting on it tomorrow. Should have some pics up by Monday!

Pretty good actually! They still didn't have the same impact as the Naval Bronze/Tungsten I did but they did OK. They were around .125" grouping for 3 shots at 750 yards and about .375" at 1000. The bronze rounds kept their energy all the way to 1000 and had about .1875" with 3 shots. Here is a crappy cell pic with the short barrel on. I have since put on a 40" barrel and that's what I was using to get the numbers.

0.375 MOA or 0.375" at 1000. One is believable, the other isn't...

3/8" grouping with 3 shots at 1000 yards using a 40" barrel .50bmg with 700g hand turned realodes using a NightForce 3.5-15x50. If your ever in the Tulsa area let me know and if I can get the range I can take you down.

Not hard to make its just the material will be expensive. If its say .750" or 1" 6061 depending on size your looking at about 500 for material alone. If you can get measurements on aprox thickness I can check and see.

You need to compete, as that is world record smashing shooting (I believe the current 1000 yard record is still about 2.5"). Basically, you are saying your rifle is a 0.0375 MOA shooter at 1000 yards. That's a little tough to believe...

I have been shooting my .50 for about 5 years now. I was in Navy EOD for 16 years and 8 of those off and on with diffrent teams as support. I don't want to shoot comp I just do it for fun but I am trying to sell my bullet design to a certain company that I can't name now.

2011+ have a brace and aero tray there from the factory

The only problem is that on our older cars, if you make a splitter that attaches under say, a CDC classic like mine, it makes the z brace and cover not as effective because the splitter is lower. If you look at 908ssp's design, the under tray is one fluid surface that mates with the splitter. On the new cars, Ford's design works well.

I am looking at making a alum brace like that but I am wanting to make it cheap enough that people can afford but will also function and look good. The one in the pic is AWSOME but after material and cost of machining your looking at somewhere around 800-1000. I want it to where people can actually buy it not just the guys with deep pockets!

spoilers would be another good one. I know I was talking with my friend about fabbing up a RTR type spoiler for the 05-09 mustangs out of 5/16 or 1/4 aluminum

I am actually going to run the FR500S wing. I know it's a little big but like they say go big or go home!! I am about to start fab on the splitter and document the process. I will post up the pics tomorrow hopefully!

You seen the G-stream? That's what most s197 race teams, all likely, moved to.
