Well started the Brake down grade and the Bogart install today.

I will miss the Baer 14 rotors for sure with the 20s. You cant tell from the pic below but with the 20s I really dont like the 12" rotors. Oh well, I need speed!

Caliper brackets.

Brakes back together.

Then the rear tire install came! Well looks like I have some work to do.

Gonna have to cut this guy off.

That way this guy will have a new home.

Then get rid of this bar and cut the bracket.

This stuff was a lot more fun here.

Hmmmmm, how fast can I run on the 20" drs again?!?!?! LOL

I did weigh every thing though and this will make a 104 lb drop at the track!

Thats it for now. I will update more this week end after its all done.

Got lucky with another rain day today. In my line of work that means off day.

Here is where I am at so far.

Cut off the bump stop brackets, primed, and undercoated.

Cut off the swaybar mounts.

Test fit the rear wheels.

Made a template for the bump stop relocation plates. I will stamp some 1/4" plate tomorrow at the shop to match the template. I also marked a pc of 1 1/2"x 1/4 plate for the rear sway bar relocation plates and thought I would make some for the front also, just incase I ever need them. I will cut it all tomorrow with the bumpstop plates. Not going to wait to get it powder coated, I think a few coats of black paint will work for these,

Looking good bro!

Thanks. Should be interesting to mount the 20's back up and see how much wider I can make the wheels for street trim!

I plan to check some measurements and send the 20x10s of to Weldcraft to get at least one inch added.

I didnt mention that I installed the Maxum Motorsports caster camber plates this last weekend and will align the front end this coming weekend. I also have a new tune from Lito that I will dattalog this weekend to get the a/f a little leaner where we want it and fix a small cold start issue that came about with the cooler air.

Looks like the next time at the track will be at Dallas Raceway on Feb. 2. I will see what the car has on the 20s then and try for my 9.9x goal then and before the Feb 23 meet in waco where I will try out the bigs and littles and see where we are with those.

I plan to then find a good test and tune day at Dallas raceway to make the best I can pass on the current tune with the bigs and littles, and everything not needed striped from the car.

Next plan is the 3.9 pulley (27 psi ?) and some retuning. (I have a 4.3 pulley now)

This going to be a VERY fun year at the track!!!

Well if you want to gain a full second in a year you have to do something big! LOL

That has always been my goal for the the F1a at 27 psi and a 50 shot. I want a low 9 sec car by the end of the year. This is the year I go fast!

Manuel is going to be a real big part of this cars success this year.

Finally had time to finish the bump stop and rear sway bar relocation today. Still have to do the alignment from the MM CC plate install but it feels good otherwise and no rubbing. I need to brake in the breaks still also. I only drove out to the main road and back to the house today. Looks like the front droped about two inches!
