Yeah I don't get his comment either. 685whp on a conservative and super safe tune with only 14 deg is awesome. And on 93 9.5:1 is a very smart move. I'm sure its a silly fun car and very streetable. Plus it will last forever at that pace.

It was a joke people... just busting his balls about the 100+ HP left on the table at his boost level I mean damn people on 10 pounds are making 700+ on the same timing and on 93.. everyone should know low compression means loss of power and more boost and more heat are required to make it up.. turn up the boost man, make some big numbers Lol.

I have a fully built race engine going in my car and I'm only gonna run a 3.4 pulley on 93, might be around 700s. Dont really need silly power for daily driving. BUT... I will have a "fuck you" E85 tune with a tiny pulley... Shooting for the stars. lol

So are u guys including the block off plate in the kit?

im trying to get the block offs made now

I think I'm definately doing this. But will it hurt or does it not matter having both on? Both meaning the stock and the red?

Its not going to hurt anything having both unless your running big boost then you could possibly blow out the O ring in the stock unit

So it comes welded up already? Or do we have to have it welded?

from my S4 in your sisters bed

Comes welded and ready to go. if you buy the kit

Only issue then is need run that tank empty before playing. And make sure no 93 left in tank. What happened to the easy E85 tune for DD and the fuck you red rocket crush all kill tune.

Im playing it smart, WAAAY too much money invested to just beat it like it stole somethin lol. Gonna take care of her and treat it right. And a benefit to having a return fuel setup is its super easy to drain the tank into a fuel can. ;-)

Gonna drive around on 93 and have a kill it 85 tune with pulley swap. No sense in driving around town with 900+ horses when 700 will get the job done lol.

Dammit. Well ill find out. Parts are ordered.

How much did it run you?

I've been on 3.6 from day one. Raced it all last year summer spring fall in TX. 11lbs boost day one. I was runnjng 10.3-10.5 last summer in TX.

I am tuned by Central Texas Performance.

I think something up with these recent 13's.

Do you know of anyone who has popped a motor with Jeffs tune? Won't change my opinion about him or his abilities.. i'm just curious.

Not yet. I know myself and another 5.0 both around 700whp. And one that was happy with 560whp being super safe. All 3 on 93. All three running Paxton.

He also tuned latemodels blown 5.0.

So is anyone going to say whose tunes are blowing up motors? Or do you have to be wearing a members-only jacket for such information?

I only read this forum, and perhaps it's not obvious to me. So why doesn't somebody just come out with it? What's the big secret?

So we are sure its tunes blowing these motors?..Ive seen reports of blown motors from several that were all done by different tuners. Im willing to bet its more like bad gas, poor maint, driving styles, bad luck ect...everyone likes to pile it on a tuner but for every one motor blown theres probably 20-30 that are thriving. Just be aware in this much discussed topic that theres really a million things that can go wrong and pinpointing it to one is very difficult
