Most of you guys know that I got my car back after the full build. After the break in we realized the car was running really lean. 12.6 to 1. So the guys who built my car are good friends of mine and offered to add more fuel to the car and put it on the dyno. They truthfully didnt even want me to drive the car running that lean. So they added more fuel on it and put it on the rollers. We are going to rebuild the rear next week before we run it at Atco.
The car consists of JDM 298 stroker, Livernois stage 3 heads, Comp Cams 127350, livernois cam limiters, Saleen Blower 2.75 upper pulley and 10% OD pulley tuned from Modern Muscle Motorsports. This is through a 4R70W automatic with a non lock up converter with a maxed out supercharger. We plan on doing a twin turbo set up in a few months.

I was going to suggest porting the upper lid and removing the center post, going with a single blade throttle body like we did on the sterling car. It went from 650 to 690 RWHP!

The supershaker is seeing some nice gains. We've only supported 550 RWHP with the stock maf sensor but that was on a very mild setup with a Saleen PJ mustang which has a 302 with lightly ported heads and the wrong cams for a blower car.

I think if we can get a big enough slot sensor maf, your car can make closer to 700 RWHP

Our plans are to run this at the track for a few runs and then they want to do a custom twin turbo kit on there. Ill see how that turns out. Im loving the car and it is strong.

Why does it sound like he is shifting a stick car?
Why does it sound like the run was done in 3rd gear?
How much work did it take to get a 2.75 upper on your blower?

It sounds like I was shifting a stick car cause it has a manual valve body and the trans shifts very hard. I had to go through the gears on the dyno.
It was done in 3rd gear cause its a 4R70W. Only 3 gears, with an OD.

The 2.75 pulley went right on. I must of had the later production snout on my blower. Im currently running a K061073 belt.

Lucky bastard... I can't even get a 3" one on mine.

I assumed it was a manual valve body, just sounded a little odd the way he was shifting it and letting completely off of it between shifts

Dnyo graph looks like you're out of room on that blower, with the torque falling off fairly consistently. Does the boost drop as you go up in RPM? Oh, and, whatcha doing with that blower when you take it off:whistling:

Oh and awesome numbers man, that's insane!

Paul is a great guy and we enjoyed working on his car. It's a beast now, can't wait to do the turbo set up. Hopefully the other mean, black Ford will be pulling out of the garage in a few months:) Then all three of us can be members of the 9 second street car/truck club soon!!
