Never enough power guy!
Long story short there is a screw/ bolt in my intake system that should not have been there. Don't ask how, because that is the biggest question I have at the moment. I will post pics this weekend and update my "Leaning to make fast go fast" thread. After tearing it down last night I found the a SS 3/4" bugle head bolt some how mad it into my post IC intake system or flat out fell/ dropped into the motor during assembly. How? IDK
Motor started running like ass last Sun at the track and was tapping like a follower was out or something.
I always install the spark plugs and tape off the intake runners on the heads as soon as the heads are installed. That makes me think somehow it was dropped into the post IC piping while the motor was out.
Fact is all the drivers side pistons are toast and while be replaced along with cleaning up the head. How it went in and out of the intake and only effected one bake is a mystery to me!
So, my question is, with only 50 miles, 3 dyno pulls, and 5 passes at the track.
Can the rings be reused and will they reseat?
Cylinder walls look new.
