Lol, well I am running an ooooolllldddd school fosgate amp, I love this thing. I'll give it to ford other than a shitty tail Light design, the trunk is very well sealed, so much so that my trunk lid bows when the bass hits.

Today I picked her up, new Whipple installed, new boost/oil-pressure gauges installed, running on a putt-putt tune until I can get it to the tuner tomorrow or Tuesday.

Got it home and the first thing I did was pop open the girlfriend's Shelby's hood for a side-by-side supercharged-Mustang pic :

Installed my HID fog lights, now maybe people will stop flashing their high beams at me...

Good luck. I get flashed more when I have my fogs on with the HID's.

Try checking your headlight aim instead of adding more lights to blind oncoming drivers even worse. Where the fuck do people get off thinking they have the right to throw out as much light as they want into oncoming traffic? And EVERY SINGLE ONE refuses to believe they are in the wrong. Fix your fucking headlights.

Actually most people still aren't used to the light output of HID, so they bright cars with HID thinking it's their high beams. I had it happen to me tons of times when I first got the stang, but they learned after the high beams came on lol

That was a rude reply that wasn't really called for, my headlights are aimed correctly, and fog lights put light closer on the ground than headlights anyway.

My lows are aimed correctly, I think my issue was having two obviously different color lights on (5k HID lows and halogen fogs) we shall see tomorrow morning...

For those that rush to judgment of me, here is what it looked like before I got the correct HID for my fog lights. To most people on the highway this would look like a car running highs and lows. The level of "holier than thou" of some board members never ceases to amaze me.

I am really impressed with the kensun kit, not to mention the nifty case...

That still doesn't mean you can't get your headlights aimed properly. Unless your lights have poor beam control or a bad pattern, that's enough to solve the majority of these situations.

If you lower the rear of your car more than the front (to "level it out"), do you realize that you would then need to re-aim your headlights down? Tail down more = headlight pattern moves up.

Same deal it you're carrying a heavy trunk load (such as heavy sound equipment) and/or back seat passengers. If any of those situations are present, don't blame oncoming traffic for what's really an issue with your car.

I have HIDs and frequently run the foglights as well, and I've hardly ever been flashed in the 6 years I've owned the car except for the time I was tweaking the headlight aim. Rarely in the 50 years I've been driving have I been flashed, and I was running halogens for many years before separate bulb headlights were technically legal, and running them with bulbs that still aren't.

Thank you. As I said earlier, people with out of alignment headlights NEVER admit they are at fault. Most just keep adding brighter lights to 'teach those people a lesson'. :mad2:

Went to my very first Mustang car show. This one held at Treasure Island on down to Half Moon Bay! :rock:If that doesn't count, I smoked out the side and rear quarter panel marker lights two days before and did a 50% tint on both windows the week before that. Now I realize I need to do the headlights and black out the pony and 5.0 badge. I don't like either, but until I can really smooth things out with a nicer upgrade, I guess blacking them out might look a bit nicer. I might have a slightly better shot of the car, but this was from the best angle. I was in a hurry to snap it, since everyone was shoving off to make the Half Moon Bay run. I jumped out and snapped a few. I should have known to use my lens hood and a flash, but there's always the next show.

It was a great learning experience with a bunch of friendly welcoming people. I really wanted to get around and take more pictures of peoples cars, but I just kept getting drawn in to talking to some of these cool people.

Sometime in the middle of last week I replaced the serpentine belt - no cracks being a track day tech inspection line item for the group I'll be running with this coming Friday & Saturday. I'll take this job over having to do the old V-belts every time.

Also did some more measuring that will go into the choice of wheels and tires for track time.

My headlights are stock, and are aimed correctly. The LED fogs in combo with the factory HID's are pretty bright. The roads that I travel at night are full of deer, and even though it is a well travelled 4 lane road, at night, there are several crossing areas with herds of them standing there, sometime right in the road. The fogs really help with extra lighting. I get flashed all the time, mostly by cars with halogens. I have yet to get blasted by a car with HID's, as they know how bright they are/appear.
