Terry I didn't read every single piece of info, but what are you doing when water pools on the vinyl?
Jason,

Nice Pic of you and your Buddy.

but what are you doing when water pools on the vinyl?
That I can answer you simply take an air hose and blow the excess water off if any is still between the slats.

That's obviously before you remove the vinyl from underneath the rectangle openings.

If your driving the wind blows the majority of it off.

And if you get caught with it sitting and there is still water when you get home just blow it off with an air hose.

Getting ready for the New M/T Street Comp tires ...

Hello Gang,

So I decided to make another small purchase today.

I expect that someday in the near future the remaining two M/T Street Comp tires will arrive.

Discount Tire has the 275/35-20" and holding them for me.

M/T Rep. said the new 305/35-20" Street Comp Tires have been released as of Aug 22, 2014.

My name is on for a set so that should take place soon I hope.

That being said I went by and saw the Manager of Discount Tire this morning and he ordered me a box of Black "Stick-on-Wheel-Weighs".

He said they will be in next week.

I did this because the Black ones will blend in a lot better than the normal silver used on my Black M/T Street Comp Wheels.

Guys,

You know I have actually put off doing this post on taking the Bullitt back to Brenspeed.

I have been in somewhat daily discussions with Brent on that matter.

And that being said Brent & I have finalized as best we can on what is going to take place next.

I think most of you know that Brenspeed/Brent and I have many years involvement with one another on my Bullitt Mustang.

You might say my Bullitt which is also known as an S-197 Mustang is like a Test/Development machine with Brenspeed.

If your a Performance Shop with integrity like Brenspeed actually is.

You should be testing products and ideas before you go Hog-Wild selling them to the General-Public.

That's where a car like mine comes into play I think.

So moving right along below is what is going to take place once I drop the Bullitt off the 2nd week of September.

These next changes will coincide and work with what has been already completed recently on mine.

Brent wanted me to drive it and make sure everything they had done so far was working as it should.

Well it sure is working as best as I can tell.

So that being said it's time to go to the next step which will pretty much complete things I think as far as POWER enhancements.

I'll list the changes below and add Links to the items I can that are involved.

(1) DeatschWerks injectors 95lb (1000cc) Fuel Injectors.

http://www.deatschwerks.com/products/fuel-injectors/modern-muscle/ford/mustang-gt/1985-04-mustang-gt/17u-05-0095-8-393-detail

(2) Going from the 1 5/8" LT (Long Tube) Kooks Headers to the 1 3/4" Kooks LT Stainless Headers.

http://www.brenspeed.com/6022-134.html

(3) 2005-2010 Mustang GT KOOKS Catted H Pipe 3" Inlet and 2-1/2" OEM outlet.

http://www.brenspeed.com/6023-ch-3.html

(4) If Brent & George feel like it is not to LOUD after they (Remove) the cats they will stay off.

So basically that is a picture above of the same mid pipe with the cats on it, and we just slide out the legs and slide in legs that have no cats

If they feel it is to LOUD then the Kooks 3" Catted H-pipe W/Cats will be what I run.

(5) They are also going to port my supercharger.

There may be a few other things but I think that pretty much covers the next set of changes.

Well gang that's the deal for you that follow the Bullitt Mustang of mine.

Terry

Guys,

As you have seen above Brenspeed will be installing the DW injectors in mine along with the other changes when I take it back the 2nd week of September.

As many of you know a lot of people run the ID injectors as well as the DW injectors.

So I decided today to do some research and see if I could find an "in-depth" Article on the DW company and their injectors.

I gave it some thought about where to post that article and decided not to add it to this Thread.

Made more sense to me to make it a separate source of information for anyone wanting information on injectors.

Specifically the DW injectors.

Below is the link and the Name of that Thread in CHAT.

Choosing The Right Fuel Injector For Your Mustang With DeatschWerks

Guys,

Just got these pictures from Brent a few minutes ago.

So looks like on their end things are moving in the right direction.

Not long before I drive the Bullitt back to them this month.

I also will have Brenspeed order the,

05-13 Ford Mustang Adjustable Rear Spring Mount Kit | UPR

http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-adjustable-rear-spring-mount-05.html

I need the UPR kit to be able to adjust the rear-suspension for the M/T Street Comp 305/35-20" tires.

I'm back,

Well I do have a few pictures to share.
I'll put them below after I add these comments on my conversation with Brent & George.
Brent, George and I are on the exact same page
regarding the Bullitt Mustang.
That concludes what I have to say at this time.
If your interested then check back here.
I'll be back in touch as things further develop.
They have already started on it today.
I did get a Picture from Brent already.

Terry, happy for you Brother. Congrats on the awesome ride!
Hi Doug,

Well I think after this short visit (I-Think) to BRENSPEED that will wrap things up in regards to performance changes/modifications.

While riding back with Bobby the other day I got this picture in a text message from Brent.

They immediately started on the Bullitt after we left.

I think almost all the parts had already arrived at BRENSPEED so there was no delay in getting started on it.

When I get it back I will get DBR to install the rear UPR coil over spring lift kit.

Then make the appointment to have Discount Tire install the new Mickey Thompson tires front & rear.

Can't wait to hear the new pipes!
Tim,

It will be interesting to see if the Bullitt sounds any different at all with the newest changes.

Also I think there will be some S-197 Members interested to see a few of the other changes as well.

Some of the things taking place I have not seen done on other 3-Valve Mustangs.

I did install new lithium batteries in the Sony camera and ask George if they would possibly slow down just a bit and hold the camera still taking these pics.

Maybe they will and if they do take a lot of pics. then I can share with those here interested these latest changes/modifications.

So we shall see how things go I did my part as in asking ..........

Latest news from BRENSPEED/Brent this afternoon.... Hello gang, I received two E-Mai

Hello gang,

I received two E-Mails this afternoon from Brent

He said if I would chill he had a Surprise for me he thought I would like.
icon_cool.gif

So, I'm in on cool stuff so we agreed he not bring my Bullitt to the NMRA World Finals this weekend in Bowling Green, KY.

Actually this has really worked out very well as I actually wanted to go and just hang out this time for the World Finals.

If he had brought my Bullitt I would have probably felt inclined to have ran it again in True Street.

Now with this latest news I can just go hang-out and enjoy watching the races.
icon_smile.gif

Guess I should Thank Brent for the way this has worked out.

Thank-You Mr. Brent White,

tiger,

so the surprise was the cars not done yet? Not sure I follow?

Nick,

I guess I said that completely wrong if I gave that impression.

I have no idea what the surprise is going to be as I was not told.

The surprise was "Not" that the Mustang was not done.

I'm not expecting some great big surprise to be honest.

I'm thinking it must be something Brent is doing to mine and he's pretty darn sure I will like whatever it is.

I do know the Bullitt has already been on the Dyno yesterday and from what the Tech text me it sounded really Bad-Ass !!!

Brent sent me a text yesterday and said it fires up perfect and idles just fine with the changes made.

So from what I have been told so far it sounds like everything so far has gone just fine.

Hello Drew,

Hey man let me share a thought or so with you.

Actually in my case I happen to appreciate the people like you that drop by on occasion and check this thread out.

And you are damn right I am an Old-Fart compared I'm sure to the majority of guys on S-197. :thumb2:

One of the things I am so glad for is even at my (Old-Ass-Age) I can still do everything I want to.

That includes for sure still screwing around with my Bullitt Mustang.

EDIT* Do you want a grandson?
You might already know that I never had any children.
So ...........
You making the offer to be like an Internet Adopted Grandson ???

LOL,
