The 18x10.5 wouldn't fit the s197. The 18x9.5 is 19.9lbs and has the right offset

D forces are 19lbs and 18x10...just F all y'alls I
Usually on the heavier side. If you want 18x10s I recommend APEX EC-7:

I didn't realize you could put a 18x11 with 315 tires on the front, with stock front fender's. How much camber is used? This must barely fit. Is a spacer used, how thick?
Hey, 2012 called!!! It wants its news on "315's up front" back! Only joking...but there have been 315's up front on S197's for a while.
So you somehow missed Terry's epic Vorshlag 2011 GT build thread? Plenty of posts in there about them stuffing huge wheel/tire combos under the fenders.Yes, but for race wheels function > form. Even though I just got the AMR's on sale, I still plan to eventually replace them with the D-Force.I love D-Force wheels too, just not a fan of how they look on the S197.

Heavy? My 18x8 TSWs I run for the street are under 19 lbs...
Agreed. Do they have as much caliper clearance as the APEX wheels? Meh, nothing against D-Force , in-fact, I'm great friends with the owner, I just like the APEX more.
Yes, the D-Force wheels have great caliper clearance. More than any other wheel we've tested. And we're a little biased against Apex. In the BMW community they waited until D-Force and Vorshlag did all the fitment work and then copied the fitments. They also did it after the 18x10 D-Force-Vorshlag S197 wheels were built. So, yes, I've got a beef with Apex because I don't like companies that don't do their own development and, depending on how you look at it, steal others IP.
It's a little hard to see in this photo, but this is a 4-Piston Brembo caliper and an 18x10 D-Force wheel. I can fit my hand between the caliper and the spokes.

Yeah you're right about the weight, when I think TSW I just think of 'Tire and RIM Shops' in the Boston area. Wouldn't be a brand I'd use in a road race environment.
Are you selling the stock wheels?
Uh, you do realize that at least two of their wheel lines are forged and specifically made for racing, right? Just because some of their wheels are 24" bling things doesn't mean all their wheels are junk.
Nope didn't know. Learn something new everyday - or in my case a few things.
I love the Nurbergring style. Wouldn't mind a set of thoseNurburgring and Interlagos are the two he is talking about specifically although they have a three other rotary forged wheels. The Panorama, Parabolica and the Sochi.
