Thanks buddy! I know stick on stuff isn't popular with this crowd, and in this case, I agree. I am definitely getting the SHR ones soon. Just got other priorities right now. Besides, I got my stick on louvers (which are a genuine Ford part, btw LOL), on the cheap from the classifieds in another forum. So I don't have much in them.

Took the louvers off.. absolutely in love with it. Makes the car feel new again. Pure s197. I can't believe how good the paint underneath came out after I got all the adhesive off and polished it. I need to do the rest of the car now. Haven't decided if I want to add the SHR's at this point, but thanks to everyone for the encouragement to take the bulky ones off :lol2: :thumb:

Throw some tint on them and call it a day. Do the rear window too.

And yes, it looks much better without the louvers. MUCH cleaner.

So much better. I think you should save the louver money and put some bigger brakes on the rear to fill up those wheels a little better.

Not a bad idea at all! I really want the 6 pistons up front too after driving an s550 with them. They're like 4 pistons on crack.

Thanks man, love your car! I think I'm gonna roll fishbowl for a while as I kind of like how the interior shows through and it feels really bright and airy inside

Texas heat dictates other wise here... The Black interior + 95 degree days = oven...
I got the ceramic tint and it works awesome.

Love the ceramic tint. I put it on all of my vehicles.

I did a couple of temp tests to see how well the tint helped. My wife and I both had black GT's with black leather seats. My wife didn't want tint on her Mustang. I had 20 in the back and 35 on the sides in the ceramic. It was 98 degrees outside with both cars parked in direct sunlight. IR temp gun said my seat was 109 degrees and my wifes was 136 degrees.

Needless to say, she got her windows tinted a few days later.

Side note...I now know Photobucket degrades picture quality. I uploaded these to Flickr, but I couldn't get them to embed from Flickr into a post. What am I doing wrong?
