Is a 2009 m90 roush supercharger compatible with a 2007 gt? Have tried doing research but can not find anything concrete, so i figured I will ask the pros!

but couldnt i upgrade it in the future? vs buying the whole kit? also i am getting the roush m90 used so not full price.

You could upgrade the head unit to a 1900 for about $3500...but you talk about a firebox.
That thing gets blistering hot, stupid quick.
By time you pay $2500 for a used M90 and $3500 for a new 1900...you've got $6000 that could be used for a nice 2.3 setup.

If you go with a used M90...and you pay over $2750 shipped...you paid too much.

Knock yourself out, dude.
I don't give a shit.
Just telling you from experience.

You SAY you just want 400-450...we ALL said that.
Then, it wasn't enough.

I've been very happy with my M90 on my daily, I think it helps that I'm in a cool climate. Most people seem to chase and chase the IAT dragon with blown 4.6's. Justin's 1.9 is $3000 now, performance seemed roughly identical to the 2.3 cars using Sqwerl's build as an example. He was knocking on 10's or in the 10's IIRC.

2-3 years ago I paid $3000 for my used M90 kit that included $700 worth of extra parts - a new one would have run me over $5000 here. Prices are down for everything for the old 4.6 cars, now you can get a TVS 2.3 for about $5500. Deflation!

Actually I was running mid 10s with some difficulty launching due to the stupid tall first gear in the T56 combined with my marginal shifting abilities. With a good auto I would have been in the very low 10s, possibly even 9s on a halo run.

And yes, heat was terrible. The TVS1900 is awesome but you can't run 14-15 lbs of boost on that setup in a daily driver. I was about to pull the 10% overdrive crank pulley and drop it back to 11-12 lbs when I wrecked it.

And to answer the OP's question, all M90 kits from 2005-2010 will fit your car. The 2010 version is the most desirable. The kit was unchanged from 2005-2009 but several nice upgrades were made for 2010.

Do not be phased by the giant Department of Boost icons and avatars! No kidding though, their system is a very economical setup and GT500 blowers are becoming even more and more worthless. Shoot even my local shop is plugging up with them and I live in borneo. Almost free.

M90 makes allot of heat, they are ok units but as everyone is telling you there are better options. I would save a little extra, and get something that works better for your application. And 450 to the wheels with M90 is really going to put off some serious heat.

EIghty6gt.... You might want to answer him as he has something that is much better than the M90 for the same price and offers room to grow for much less money if you want more in the future... Not that I care what you do honestly...

Don't forget they flopped the inlet to the driver side, like the GT500 eatons. This, IMO, was the single greatest upgrade they did for the m90 series. Gets rid of that donkey shlong of an intake system wrapped halfway around the engine bay.

Like most people are telling you OP, save your money. A little more would buy you something much nicer. I had my eye on a m90 swap for a while, 'til I saw one dyno'd here in Vegas. It made decent power once, and then my NA setup would steam roll him. IAT's get drasticly out of control when you start putting smaller pullies on it. If you would be happy with the stock version of it, it's not a terrible way to go. Makes a cool whine, puts down about 380whp. I don't feel $2700 justifies any of that, but everyone has their own line to draw on financial constitutions. I was patient and picked up my D1 for $2k locally, and threw another $1300 into putting it on a leash so it doesnt eat my motor alive.

If you're set on having a PD blower, they certainly dont come cheap, but if you have $2700 plus the cost of tuning it, have some patience and add to that pool of money. The right deal will come along for something more efficient and more potential.

I agree with everybody else. I wouldn't bother with the M90. If you're on a tight budget, go with a DOB setup - much better bang for the buck. Even if you're not on a tight budget, it would be hard to recommend something other than DOB.
