Well, at least you won't be able to feel your fingertips when you chew them off lol.

Hey Billy I am planning to be in Dallas this spring with the car. Will hand to meet up if you are around

Sorry, all I got done was the UPR/Strange manual master cylinder install and I have to go to south Texas tomorrow so it will be Friday before testing again.

Here are the directions. Doesn't matter much though as they are useless.

The factory parts removed.

The ugly spot left from removal. I will address that at a later date.

Next two pics are what UPR thinks will work in an 05 up mustang. Notice the rod is to long and the hole in the rod end is way to big in diameter. And yes, I know the black mounting plate is upside down but, that has no change on the rod length after I swapped it.

Next is what the "kit" needs to work correctly with our cars. Napa auto parts FTW.

Also notice there is a hole that needs to be drilled in the pedal assembly to align the push rod correctly.

I'm still waiting to see any UPR part that impresses me. Trying to understand their appeal but I just ain't feeling it.

The billet pc to make the MC work with our cars is nice, I think they need to address the push rod. If that is the std part that comes with the Strange unit, so be it, but don't sale me a 05-14 "kit" that doesn't work. The rod end doesn't even match the picture in the directions. WTF

How much weight do you think ditching the booster and swapping MC's saved you?

I can weight the factory stuff Friday. I don't know the weight of the Strange MC though, I can maybe look back at the shipping papers. I'm guessing a 5-10 lb savings. The booster is really not that heavy at all. This is not something I would do for weight gain. I did it to get a usable pedal back.

Right on, thanks. I have the strange MC sitting here too so I can weigh that piece. Looking at some shipping weights on the booster showed what you are saying, likely not much saved.

Car is looking good, that engine compartment looks nice and clean!

Where did you buy your Strange MC from and what came with it?

I bought it 2nd hand from Danner. It is the 2013 CJ one. Came with the MC, firewall adapter, and pedal assembly with the hole further up for the rod. Looks like the firewall adapter on the CJ mounts the MC up just a bit higher as well which is why I got it.

Do you have any pics of it? I also drilled the pedal assembly to make it work correctly. I'm more interested in the end of the MC rod that bolts to the pedal assembly then anything.
