Good deal, Can you use these with roush/RTR side splitters? If so are these visible on the car and welded in place? Various pics installed? I only see the close up pic on the site.

I'll have to try a set on my car. I haven't confirmed fitment with the Roush Splitters, but the splitters didn't protrude farther than the factory rocker panels on my 2011.

I'm pretty pissed! The insurance company wanted all available information about ZL1 Addons, it sounds like they are going to be contacting ZL1. I'm sure the insurance company has better lawyers than I do anyway, lol.

Thanks Sharad, once I get the damage squared away or at least get an appointment to have it repaired, I'll likely take you up on your offer.

Offer is open anytime. :)

Sharad, do you weld them onto the car or no?

Weld in.

The estimate came in at just over $1600. That's a costly $30 jackpad! The body shop is taking the car on June 8th.

I would take ZL1 mods to small claims court. Not sure how it would work since you may be in a different state than them but I know it can be done.

Oh hey there Gabe. Nice wheels on your gray car! Are they RTRs? No? GTFO here with that hypocritical BS!

.

Says the guy that used to own a set.

Yeah, you'd know all about design copies though, working for that company ...

Sharad, you need to stop taking things so personally dude ... it's just a job ...

Says the guy who seems to think he owned the Steeda designs that UPR "copied."

Yeah man, I'd never use them again if I were you. The damned thing was easy to use, very convenient, and worked great...until it nearly killed me and trashed my car without warning.

You mean the Steeda knock-offs?

Yet another design copied by UPR!

Not sure if you've ever worked in manufacturing but designs get "borrowed" in almost every industry. Why reinvent the wheel? If you can make a similar product but at lower cost, faster mfg time, make an improvement on it etc, that's business man. Free market economy, as long as you don't infringe on patents or copyrights. I feel bad for some of the little guys that have their designs taken and made at lower cost by larger companies, but it's kind of on them to ensure what is unique about their product is patented or it will get "borrowed" if it's a good idea. Does suck that patent enforcement can be quite expensive though.
