So suspension has nothing to do with it? Dude, stop digging.
Yea my last car was stock suspension and this one has a basic bmr setup... There's also a coyote car in the 8s on stock suspension though. Lots of different points that brought me to like a centri more than a PD.
My 2006 m90 car was a 3.55 rear gear car with a 3650 making just over 400whp I would guess and spun often.
My 14 has that suspension and instead of having 285/35/18 Continental DW tires like my m90 car did, it has 285/30/19 Continental DW tires... With well over 200 more horsepower, a 19 inch wheel so less sidewall than the previous 18" wheel, and a way higher effective gear ratio due to mt82 gearing with 3.73 gears vs the 3650 with 3.55 gears.
My 14 still hooks better than my m90 car did and I blame it on power delivery by the different blower.
Also lower IATs are great with the centri. My IAT reading is often 2-3 degrees less than ambient while driving both in the interstate and around town. While sitting the highest I've seen it get is 10 degrees above ambient, and very quickly cooled off once moving again. This happened when I sat still in a drive through for about 10 minutes to get that higher IAT.
I just really have no complaints about the centri setup so far and would recommend it to anyone.
I wasn't trying to be misleading towards the op, I really couldn't care less what route other people go with their cars. Just trying to help by sharing my experience. And in my experience, turbo and centri would be my only personal choices at this point.
