My car would spin them in 2nd with the M90 - with the TVS1900, hooks up. :D I did control arm relocates and lowering springs, seems like I have better traction.

Nothing beats a positive displacement charger on the street. I keep trying to convince a friend who's dead seat on a GT350R that he's way better off buying a GT and doing a 2300 kit.

He is. The GT350R is no street car. Not really. He is going to feel like a tool every time a blown GT walks the dog on him.

He says he's not going to touch it, he doesn't like working on cars anymore. Bah, whatever, he probably won't buy anything.

I have a friend with the whipple 2.3 that spins for days.

My old M90 car with like 430rwhp had traction problems.

I now have over 600rwhp on my paxton using the same exact size tire I had on my M90 car with the exception that I am now on 19s and used to be on 18s, and can usually hook from an idle in 1st if it's warm enough outside.

285/35/19 continental DW tires.

So suspension has nothing to do with it? Dude, stop digging.

It is a stick car. I'm running 305 45 or 50 18s I can't recall the exact number for height I do know it's a tall tire that made the 373s to a 390 I love how fast it pulls from the line I actually hook pretty well on the street as long as it's concrete not asphalt. Currently running boss intake steeda 101mm pypes 1 7/8 lts and off x pipe with heart throb and no res. However I do know by adding power it will be alot diff but I'll just go as wide as possible with tires I did consider doing a Paxton or something of that nature to just was not sure what is easier to I stall time of install is not an issue for me I can use another car to drive but so far I'm leaning to vmp stage 2. Unless I see other info to get my mind made up completely. I don't plan on doing a block I'm thinking I may need to upgrade clutch and eventually upgrade tranny as well.

Yea my last car was stock suspension and this one has a basic bmr setup... There's also a coyote car in the 8s on stock suspension though. Lots of different points that brought me to like a centri more than a PD.

My 2006 m90 car was a 3.55 rear gear car with a 3650 making just over 400whp I would guess and spun often.

My 14 has that suspension and instead of having 285/35/18 Continental DW tires like my m90 car did, it has 285/30/19 Continental DW tires... With well over 200 more horsepower, a 19 inch wheel so less sidewall than the previous 18" wheel, and a way higher effective gear ratio due to mt82 gearing with 3.73 gears vs the 3650 with 3.55 gears.
My 14 still hooks better than my m90 car did and I blame it on power delivery by the different blower.

Also lower IATs are great with the centri. My IAT reading is often 2-3 degrees less than ambient while driving both in the interstate and around town. While sitting the highest I've seen it get is 10 degrees above ambient, and very quickly cooled off once moving again. This happened when I sat still in a drive through for about 10 minutes to get that higher IAT.
I just really have no complaints about the centri setup so far and would recommend it to anyone.

I wasn't trying to be misleading towards the op, I really couldn't care less what route other people go with their cars. Just trying to help by sharing my experience. And in my experience, turbo and centri would be my only personal choices at this point.

The 3valve SC cars make more torque down low than the 4v SC cars due to the way they have to be tuned to keep from blowing up. The tuners leave a lot of valve timing overlap limiting bottom end torque till the rpms build up then they dial it in. If you can't keep the tires from spinning you need to learn to drive it really is that simple. The 4v cars come in a bit easier but when they do they are fast.

Personal experience speaking.....

My 01 with a Vortech T trim and crappy Sumitomos was a spin fest. To the point of being dangerous. That's with suspension mods. Same car with F1A and drag radials hooked and booked. Only spun when tires were cold. My 04 is pullied and with drag radials it hooks as well.

My point being, it's not always the blowers fault if the tires spin. Tires and suspension play a big role.

Your 305-45-18's (28.8" tall on a 10" wide rim) will effectively make your 3.73 rear gear into something a lot different...like 3.49. That's comparing a 28.8" tall tire vs a 26.97" tall tire (285-40-18...on a 10" wide rim). You will have less wheel spin with the taller tire, since u have less effective rwtq,

The Roush basic 575 crank hp kit....or their 625 crank hp kit is ample..esp with LT's. Their 675 crank hp kit....+ LT's will result in potential traction issues.

Oh snap you are right with the tires I must have calculated wrong yes they are on 10 in rim. I was thinking of doing stage 3 but I thought it may be to much for the stock bottom end as I'm driving it everyday only 40 miles round trip and it's usually parked on the weekends unless I race. So I'll Def keep the taller tire to reduce spinning plus I do like the stance of it sits pretty stout looking. But if I can stage 3 for a 1000 more why not but only if my bottom end will it's guts in.

I was being ironic - tuners will ramp up throttle/torque vs. pedal position rates to make the car seem faster. 1/2 throttle is now commanding way more torque, sensitivity off the bottom is picked up, etc.
