I've had it on there for over 15k miles and it still looks perfect. Exhaust tip heat isn't high enough to ruin plastidip

My tips have been dipped for a couple years now and the dip is holding up fine. I dipped another set of mufflers and they were on the car for a couple months, tried to remove the dip and it fought me something fierce, so I'd advice that if you're gonna do it, be sure you want it.

Yep, 77 here on Saturday. I have to do things backwards and put my un-air conditioned fastback up for the summer because it's too damn hot. I guess not everywhere can be San Diego.

Thanks Gabe, yeah I did.

Long story short... I've always been a clean look kinda guy. When I got this car I immediately took the stripes off, then thought to myself... I didn't even give them a chance. So I eventually put the matte black stripes on. Don't get me wrong, It looked great and had that "Shelby" persona to it, but they just weren't for me.

I prefer simple and clean. These cars have such fine body lines, I feel like the stripes take away from that.
