I give up. That question has been answered many times already and you are too stupid to read the replies because you already have your head wrapped around what you want to hear.
I quit.
Wow dude really? You have to take it there because your the damn forum god?
Sorry asking questions means Im stupid to you but how the hell am I suppossed to get varying opinions if I just listen to your word like its sacred scripture.
All you do is chime in and say get lund tune, get lund tune, get lund tune.
Ill get a damn lund tune when I have enough mods to benefit and justify price.
This 2010 is a little confusing because you have parts in the 05-09 range and you also have parts in the 10+ range that pop up so im just looking for a little insight here maybe hoping someone with a 2010 will chime in or steeda chime in.
I understand I dont have to stick with steeda but why all the hate against them. Ive read nothing but good things about them and their tunes.
Yes they are conservative, yes they are generic, but i want to stay safe untill im done modding and will take the damn thing to a dyno.
Im more worried about longevity than getting every once of power out of it right now.
Im wanting headers and a cam for the sound and if i gain 10hp then thats cool.... is that logical.... maybe not.
I always wanted a 4.6 mustang to mod and mess with so i went that route. I could of got a coyote and had more hp stock than ill probably ever get out of this but thats not what I wanted.
Im just here asking question. You "quite"
I didnt ask for you to start.
I understand the stock air system flows just fine especially on the 2010 and that an aftermarket cai isnt really needed.
But.... i have this roush aftermarket and no stock cai..... i have tunes at steeda that i just paid for and the filter needs replaced anyway so instead of paying $100 for a filter I can get whole new cai system for double and some change and be able to use a tune (reason why I bought it)
Will i get 20-30hp....no
Will it be as good as lund..... no
But it has to add something or people wouldnt be buying the crap.
Brand loyalty is a mfer so yeah I hear you spouting off lund.... and i took note the 10 other times youve said it. I will keep it in mind for later but for right now I just want to bolt crap on and tune even if gains are marginal its still working torwards my goal.
Im a little pissed steeda dont let you see supported mod list before you buy but its too late, thats who I chose and who ill go with untill im done with mods and ready for "final" tune.
Im just looking for opinions on which cai is best bang for the buck. They have to net some gains even if minimal.
