IDK what you're talking about? LOL

1.34 60' Is that decent? (leaving @ 3000rpm 5 lbs boost)

Who? What?

Wow word spreads fast! Well the day has FINALLY come! I went to the track today for a private event and recorded a couple PB's:

The first hit off the trailer it went 8.90 @ 153mph!!

Second hit it went right and ran out of the grove, lost traction, had to abort to prevent running into the wall..

Third hit it went 8.87 @ 153mph!! 5.68 @ 123 1/8th!! Backed up that 8.90..

FINALLY the 8 second barrier has been breached! Who says 3 valves suck?!?!

The weather wasn't exactly ideal for boost either:

DA was 1500'

Can't wait to go back with good weather in the 50's or 60's..
Good job on those slips, you did have me almost hit my knees with the second run thou, now get that 60 down and your golden

And the second pass when it got out of the groove and I almost had to change my shorts..

Do you know what happened that caused it to do that

Nice save thats always hard to swallow, it seemed like everyone was having some sort of issue on the track yesterday

It just went right at launch and got out of the groove and lost traction. I did find that the pressure was a bit high at 20 lbs, I reduced it to 18.5, we also readjusted the ARB adding more preload to the PS. The next pass it went straight. I also changed lanes so I honestly don't know for sure what caused it. I also noticed that the DS rear tire spun a bit inside the rim and the PS did not, which could have contributed, although it only spun about an inch so I wouldn't think it would make that much of an impact.

So what now? I have a new convertor on its way that will allow me to leave about 1000-1200 rpm higher and build some decent boost. My current convertor only stalls at 3000-3100 rpm which gives me about 5 psi at launch. ProTorque is building me a custom 10" convertor with a billet stator and mechanical diode w/ multi-disc lockup. It should stall b/w 4000-4400 rpm and hopefully build 10 psi or so, should be a nice addition and if all goes well it will allow me to leave with enough power to get into the 1.2x 60' range. The next thing will be bead locks, which I cannot afford at the moment..Weld is very proud of those!

That car was on a pass! Lol, I should have said that earlier.
Your car makes me feel great about 4r swapping mine, seeing one go that fast is awesome. Lito said this was all done on the stock PCM, where are you shifting it at, have you hit any walls related to RPM?
