I might have an extra pan and dipstick in my garage somewhere. I think its PA pan. I thought it added an extra 4 qts but I could be wrong. It never interfered with my headers but I know I've caught it on the ground a couple of times. Let me see if I can find it this weekend.

I have the Performance Automatic pan for the 5r55s on my 2010 auto. It holds an extra 4 qts, and came with a locking style dipstick and drain plug, + new longer bolts and gasket. The dipstick opening is big enough to add ATF if required. However, PA no longer makes the deeper pan for the 05-10 cars.

This unit in the above url is made by trick flow, same idea, but no cooling ribs..and only holds an extra 2 qts. Flip side is, the PA unit I have is exactly 2.1" deeper than OEM.... and may cause issues clearing the ground, in some cases. I never had a problem, even with front lowered by 1"..and the PA pan easily cleared my JBA LT's. Extra ATF capacity is a moot point. I bought it for the dipstick. PITA not being to measure ATF level with oem goofy setup. While I was at it, I also installed the JDM engineering 5r55s catch can. Then no more puking ATF all over the ground. Also used RP.."max ATF" Also installed a B+M 13 k BTU auto tranny cooler ( Bar + plate type) in series with the oem tranny cooler.

This is the bs you have to go through when a small blower is used.

Ok let me know if you find it and want to sell it.

I bought a case of RP, an oil gun, filter, and shift solenoids when I first got the car because 1st to second would slip/lagshift sometimes when cold but since ive had the steeda tune it tightened up shifting and havnt had issues.
I planned on doing the brass bushings and solenoid packs but i think im just going to change fluid/filter/and pan with dipstick for now.

I added my own dipstick to the OEM pan. When I first did it, I drained the tranny and pan and measured the oil I got. Then I drilled a hole in the side of the pan, put in a few fittings to seal it up and turn it 90 degrees and used hydraulic hose to head up to the battery area then re-filled so the level would be as it was. I got a used dipstick from a wrecker (red handle) and marked it so I knew the proper level. I love having the dipstick for make oil changes and re-fills easy. I don't get to add extra oil as you would with a deeper pan, but I also don't worry about hitting a deeper pan. Worked for me.

Thats a great idea, did you use one of those flexable dipsticks looks like thick braided wire?

I wondered if anyone retrofit a tube into their stock pan.
I already shelled out for the trickflow pan.
Have to finish my paint correction and ceramic coating before i get it on ramps though.
It never ends [emoji19] lol

For the dipstick, I used an old speedo cable because it is very flexible and I attached it to a red tranny oil handle I got at a wrecker that says TRANS on it. I tired using other things but found they didn't go down the hyd hose very well as it kinda snakes its way down to the transmission. The only problem with the speedo cable is when I pull it out - it sags alot and sometimes comes close to the battery terminal and I don't want sparks. I'm just careful when checking the level. However the main purpose of the 'dipstick' is to add oil to the tranny so I don't pull it out often.

Got the pan in, added the required 5.5 qrts of fluid back and was low 1.5qrts still so the cars trans fluid been low for some time. At least I can keep an eye on it now without ramps, oil gun, and big F-ing mess!
