Well I got the transmission out today...what a pain in the ass. Could they seriously not have designed this car so you could pull the transmission back that extra couple inches to clear the clutch rather than have to drop the back end and then be able to get the bellhousing clear?

Had the TCI Streetfighter torque converter installed. First mod I had to have someone else do the work on as I can no longer crawl underneath the car.

Those look totally different from the craptastic pics American Muscle uses. I never gave them a 2nd glance until I saw them on your ride.

Pssstt... the rears are on sale for 120 a piece and fronts about 150 a piece if you’d fancy being the only guy to have gunmetal cape town rims after powder coating them. Lol

Those were at 390 a piece for years, then dropped to about 250 a piece when on sale, and now have been on clearance for a while. I guess they aren’t selling. (Likely thanks to AM’s terrible photographer.)

Doing the budget big brake mod 13.2”s and swapping out a passenger backrest to fix the broken one from the wrecked donor. It has a broken latch and bent hinge. Things in the trunk will try to kill you during a wreck.

Re-installed stock seats and decided to drive it a bit. I still have RE71s on so don't want to wear them out too much but even Diana rode in it.

First time in almost 2 years for her.

I still am not allowed to drive her new car. Sigh.

Steeda adjustable upper and GT500 lowers and a DSS aluminium driveshaft. Great mods combined, really tighten up the rear end! My stock carrier bearing was pretty shot at just 50k miles.

Tried to clean windshield “fog”.
Vandal,

I recommend the combination of Wolfgang's "Perfekt Vision" glass cleaner and a Glass Master triangular-shaped tool that has a microfiber pad that gives good access to the corners and keeps the cleaner off the A-pillar covers. The tool is not mandatory but it focuses the cleaner where it is needed better than a hand and a microfiber towel.

The Wolfgang cleaner cuts through the fog better than most other glass cleaners that I've tried. Sonax glass cleaner is good, too.

HTH,

Chris

Swapped out the HD water pump for my old regular electric pump. Gonna take a look at why this dummy pulley seized up then send it off to Meziere to rebuild it if it can be salvaged.

Busted newer pump with HD pulley. You can see how hot it got. The belt melted to the pulley.

New old regular pump. You can see all the melted rubber flung onto my oil filter.

Replaced the effin plastic tensioner pulley with a billet one. This thing got wasted when the belt melted and snapped.

Must have gotten pretty darn hot to blue the finish on my billet pulleys.

Even the adjustment pulley for belt length has the belt melted onto it.

Pulling the T56 Magnum out of my GT and discovered I have to pull the blower and maybe the manifold so I can tip the engine enough to slide the tranny out.
