It is a good friend that does all my coatings for me. If there is an issue, he will stand behind it.Sweet, impe if you use them and then coat them, no matter what you do they will rust through the ceramic. Let us know how you like em!

So how do you like it?MGW install

I still have the Hurst that came with my car. I never had any problems with it, WOT shifting with WOT box, until recently. 90k on the odometer and it's getting sloppy.

Davis Craig DC-8140, 30 gpm @ 10 amps. $169 from Summit. It is actually an engine water pump. I haven't actually measured flow yet, but it is noticeably more than the Pierburg pump from DOB. Once I have an actual GPM rate, I`ll post it.
I don't know if it will make any difference, but I put mine at the lowest point in the system so it`s always pushing water instead of pulling water.
I know there are a lot of post on the forum about shifters but how do I get the notchy feel of my Hurst shifter to feel smoother? I hear the MGW shifters are smooth. Can I take it apart and grease something or is that just how a Hurst is? I'm thinking about changing it out. Some love the Hurst some think it is too old school and junk. Shifting my car in reverse is difficult sometimes and under hard acceleration the shifting seems slow.

I think that's just how Hurst is- the Hurst has really short throws. For comparison, on my Hurst I had a longer chrome Hurst stick installed on it, so when I removed the Hurst and installed the Tri-Ax I decided to keep the same stick. On the Tri-Ax with that stick it was like rowing a boat and I had to put a shorter stick on it.
Yea, I think if I want to change the way my shifter feels, I have to change the complete shifter. The Hurst just is going to be notchy especially under high RPM and torque.I think that's just how Hurst is- the Hurst has really short throws.
